You Eat I Bake - Gluten Free Bakery

This is the cutest lil bakery. The owners are dolls to boot. I know gluten isn’t good for me but I do partake- it’s a texture thing- not here. They have found a way to keep their treats moist, flavorful and the perfect texture! I travel for work a LOT and always seek out vegan food, especially local sweet treats. This place is so inexpensive and delicious comparably. They aren’t on food delivery apps to save us all $ but I promise it’s worth the drive over! Updated from previous review on 2026-01-31

This little shop was a great find on our last trip to SC. Although we stayed in Pawley’s Island, it was worth the trip up. We went 3 times while we were there! Great customer service too.

Everything we order is absolutely delicious - we got our Thanksgiving and Christmas breads and desserts - apple cobbler is AMAZING, as are the chocolate chip cookies and coffee cake 😊 10/10!

I am not normally one to leave a review, but this place is amazing. Was in town from WI visiting family and we just googled “gluten free” bakery and found this place. I’m not going to lie, I was nervous about the bakery being vegan, I’ve not had much luck with local vegan gluten free bakeries, but these were amazing. Everything was delicious, we bought almost one of everything in the case. They were also equally delicious the next day. I will definitely be making a stop here the next time I’m in the area.

We went out of our way to stop by this bakery while we were in town and it did not disappoint!! Not only are all his pastries/desserts/donuts all delicious but the prices are the most affordable I’ve ever seen!! And don’t forget to get bread while you’re there best I’ve ever tasted!

One word: Perfection.
I have been vegan for over 25 years and gluten free due to Celiac disease for over 15 years. I've traveled extensively and can honestly say that only 2 bakeries have exceeded my high expectations and You Eat, I Bake is one of them. The textures, the flavors are heavenly. Chefs Kaleb and Haley are as wonderful as they are talented. I just wish I didn’t live 500 miles away.

Friends, if you are looking for an allergy free bakery, this is your place!! My family and I traveled to Conway for our parents 50th wedding anniversary and needed some allergy free options. We came in to see what this bakery offered and were stunned. The owner took his time getting to know the reason for our visit, asked where we were from, even filled us in on the history of the area. The kind of business owner that treats you like an old friend. Amidst our conversation he offered us a cupcake to try and we were stunned again. The cupcake was moist, flavorful, light, DELICIOUS! The icing was SOFT, creamy, perfect texture! I could not believe I was eating a gluten free cupcake. One bite, we were hooked and decided to purchase a dozen cupcakes for the party on Saturday. We also decided to sample the entire showcase. Yes, the entire showcase. We brought home coffee cakes, chocolates donuts, maple bunt cake, apple bunt cake and of course, cupcakes. I even got my Dad to try the coffee cakes (he refuses to eat gluten free items) and he said: “Gluten free! You’re kidding! It tastes good!” With a mouth full of coffee cake 😂 Give this bakery a try, you will NOT regret it!!

This place is incredible! If I were ranking all the GF bakeries I have been to, this may be the best. We tried a cinnamon roll cupcake, brownie, a lemon blueberry loaf, cinnamon donut, and chocolate chip cookie. They were soft, decadent, and delicious. Went back for more!! Did I mention the are TOP 9 ALLERGEN FREE! Do not hesitate to try everything they have; you will only have the best fresh-baked goodies!!!

This bakery has amazing allergy friendly dessert options! I have never been able to eat at a bakery until we discovered this place. It was an amazing experience as someone who has never even had a birthday cake from a bakery! There desserts are amazing for people with allergies and even the people who dont have allergies in my group absolutely loved everything! we tried donuts, cupcakes, brownies etc and everything was fantastic! The owners were also so friendly, they have created an amazing environment that allows for everyone to be able to enjoy sweets! I would recommend anyone with or without allergies to come here and enjoy some of there tasty treats.

I can not say enough great things about this little bakery. We are from Hilton NY near Lake Ontario and have not found anything like this bakery in our area. My daughter is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts which makes finding a bakery almost impossible. Just because she has allergies does not mean she should have to eat baked goods that taste like cardboard. This bakery will not taste anything other than incredible. We tried donuts, maple bars, sugar cookies, brownies, vanilla cupcakes, chocolate chip cupcakes. If you are in the Myrtle Beach area you definitely should check them out.

We had some donuts and cupcakes. There are not words to describe how unbelievably amazing those were. We had to go back 2 hours later for brownies. Fresh baked and fantastic.

We traveled to this bakery the minute we found out about it and its delicious, thoughtful allergy-friendly delights! To have a child with allergies walk in a bakery and be told they can have everything in it is a truly unique experience for the child and their parents! Loved every bite of every treat! Will be back every time we visit!

I can't tell you how happy I am that this bakery is here. Having a kid with multiple food allergies makes finding treats that are good and moist incredibly difficult. This is the place to find it. The owners are so amazing and truly understand the allergy struggle. We ordered one of everything and saying it was all delicious is a major understatement. Everyone enjoyed our treats even those without allergies. We will definitely be back often.
