We previously went to Bar Figaro on Thursday for Prime Rib and it was excellent. Last night, based on our previous experience, we went back with friends.

There was no wait staff, so we had to go to the bar to order drinks and food. We got our drinks and chatted for a while before ordering..
I ordered French Onion soup and a small cut of prime rib and my wife ordered just prime rib. Our friends ordered prime rib and soup and salad.

All items arrived at the same time and the person delivering couldn't request a glass of wine for me, so back to the bar to wait for the bartender to recognize me.

The soup was super hot, so I decided to have my appetizer for desert.

The prime rib was so fatty that half of it was waste and it was less than 1/2 thick. It was also cold, the mashed potatoes were cold and greasy and the asparagus was just thrown on top. Presentation was terrible. This is not what a $48 meal should be like. We saw other slices going to customers that looked like real prime rib. My wife said ours looked like it was from the fatty end of the roast.

To top it off, when we got the check, they started the tipping at 20%, for what?

The only regret is I was too polite to our friends to take a picture
of the plate.

Seems to be one of the only restaurant bars in town that serves liquor cocktails. The menu is so limited basically no appetizers one soup and a main dish. The atmosphere consists of a very nice bar and another room that is for dining seating and nightly music. The music was actually quite good.

Bar bites are nice. The cocktails and environment are outstanding. Service is always great and it's an adult only experience. Very nice.

Do not skip this place! Although they have a limited menu, it's some of the best food we've ever eaten.

Kitchen closes at 0800 pm. No one providing service unless you sit at the bar, and wait until they feel motivated. Skip it.

Ordered two drinks paid with cash and left a cash tip on the bar. After 10 minutes the bar tender had not picked it up so I asked if there was a tip jar, to which I got eye rolled at... definitely won't be patronizing again.

Wonderful spot near the Opera House. Attention to detail from furnishings to the menu. Great knowledgeable bartenders. French Onion soup was just enough. I've been told the bacon wrapped poppers are good too! The braised shank on grits looked and smelled amazing!

I was curious about the place, had a short drink. What to say: a pure 11/10: the atmosphere, the bartenders, the place by itself. Classy, but everything but snob, friendly people and staff. Not to talk about the ceiling... outstanding.
