Went on a Sunday after church..I’ve been here before a couple years ago but forgot about leaving a review. After moving back to SC, all I could think about was going back to Captain D’s.
Food - Got the add-on apps as I’m not big into seafood like catfish and whatnot..but I love my clam strips and shrimp. Got the butterfly shrimp and clam strips for 5.99 and then the Captain D’s appetizer special for 6.99 that comes with shrimp, popcorn shrimp and clam strips. Right away. Noticed they both came in same size box so I think you may get less clam strips when they give you the popcorn shrimp. I brought it back to Joanna so some stayed warm, others went cold..no fault of theirs, they made it fresh. Service - kid behind the counter was friendly, attentive and asked if I needed sauces and gave a few extra. I got it to go..so can’t really speak on the restaurant as others have..but I’ll be going back.

Went there Sunday evening, Ordered 2 dinners of 2 pc fish and fries. They instead gave us 2 pc fish with Cole slaw, no fries! My receipt clearly showed what we had ordered. I went back to the counter to ask where the fries were that we had ordered but NEVER got a straight answer! They were poorly trained in customer service, didn’t seem to understand that all we wanted was what we ordered, they were unfriendly, and non apologetic! We NEVER got our fries! On top of that the fish was cold! We will never go there again! I don’t know how they stay in business!! Steer clear of this establishment!!

The night manager is AWESOME she is super friendly and she drives a long distance to service the community. We need more like her.
Every time I visit this location I am never disappointed. The GM is very attentive and ensures my order is accurate each time. You can tell the managers and crew truly value their customers and the service they provide. This location has taken a major turn in the best direction from customer service, food quality, and wait times. I’ve been very satisfied!

This is a very old restaurant. It could use a real cleaning. My fish consisted of way more batter than fish. The servers were very friendly and nice. I don’t mean to complain but it really needs a new building
