Very cute and nice spot on main street. The drinks were very good. We will def be back for food because it looked very good. Only negative is they need more help but that's everywhere these days.

Wife and I will drop in for wine and coffee after dinner on a Friday night.

I love this place. There's a uniqueness about it that is really hard to describe. From the wine classes to the relaxed liquid hospitality, you will feel at home from your first pour to your last. Sean and Christy are very special people who love to provide an experience that is unique and memorable. My wife and I love half full.

Wow. Came to town to visit the Opera House and see Tommy Emmanuel play - went to dinner down the street (mistake) and came here for a drink before the show. 1) Should have had dinner here 2) ordered a scotch and the owner recommended a different brand, finally tried a "flight" and really, really happy with the selection 3) atmosphere is really cool - and not saying that just because of the 3 scotch drinks :-) Excellent place 5 stars...

Friendly staff. Clean place. Very small menu. The cappuccino was delicious.I was disappointed that the cheesecake bites I ordered tasted like they were bought from Sam's Club/Costco's frozen section. Now, I don't mind store-bought cheesecake samples--but for the price of the dessert, how about having something special from a local bakery (Leila's?) if it's not going to be prepared in-house?

I am hoping that their ac was broken on the day we went so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt on that. But no air movement. The problem I had is that the beer glasses were not cold. Picky, I know. But it’s always the little things that are the problem because they are the things that no one thinks about until they aren’t there. Beer was fine. Wine was good. Charcuterie was ok (cheese was room temp but some people like that so that’s fine). I really want to like this but sometimes the little things amount to a problem.

Let me start by saying those who said the menu needs to be bigger are just wrong. It is not often that we stumble upon places anymore that value simplicity. Half Full is one of them. The menu is small, yes, but this makes the menu less confusing (maybe allowing you to focus more on conversation or to clear your mind after a long day). Moreover, the items are of better quality, and I think in the case of food/beverage, that is more important than quantity. The server who took my order actually made the charcuterie board herself, and it went well with their cabernet. On the charcuterie board, one tiny thing I personally would prefer is the (much) thinner crackers specifically for cheeses (I think they are called wafer crackers but I'm not sure) - this helps make the cheese the focus of the flavor profile rather than the cracker, and their texture is better. The cabernet was recommended by my server over the merlot. It was great. Dry enough to say "HEY I'M WINE" yet just sweet enough to tell you "but I'm grape juice too". The decor is very cute. Antique signs, brick wall behind the bar, the walls are a very chill color, the tables and chairs are modern but also somehow classical. The cafe/bar/restaurant itself is situated on a really pretty street downtown. The staff and owner were super friendly and interested in how I was doing, wanted to know more about my day and how I was liking the area (I'm new to Newberry). I felt welcome and heard and taken care of. They said they hoped to see me again and I'm sure they will. Well done, Half Full. Just what I was looking for.

What a gem of a place that is well worth the short drive off the interstate! Needing a break and a cup of coffee on our journey back to FL we stopped here around 9pm and we were greeted like "regulars". The coffee and latte we had were excellent and the staff were super friendly. We already had an affinity for the city of Newberry from a prior visit and now for sure we will be back to sit and sip a wine or coffee at this warm and inviting spot our next road trip this way!
