Fantastic! Unfortunately, this was Steven W's last night. Steve is retiring. Food and service was fabulous! Soft shelled crab in browned butter and capers, crispy flounder with apricot sauce, and the almond basket for dessert. I've followed Steve since he was the head chef at Garibaldi's years ago and he has never served a bad meal. Congratulations on your retirement, my friend! You've earned it, but you will be missed!
When we arrived at the restaurant, we were promptly greeted by a very friendly waitress opening the door for us urging us to come in out of the rain. She seated us right away. The restaurant's décor and atmosphere were very warm and inviting with lovely white, antique, tin ceilings, wood floors and perfectly set tables. I felt like I took a step back in time as I haven't seen such exquisite ambiance and elegance in such long time. Our waitress, Candy, was so friendly...
My family had dinner tonight and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They really work hard to make sure you have a wonderful dinner. The food was amazing as always. We will definitely be coming back. And don't let me forget to say how great the desserts are.Thanks Steven and your Staff.
