Our waitress was really nice and that was the only redeeming quality of this place . The food (Patty melt & French dip) was flavorless & really greasy. Water had a funky taste & the fountain drinks weren’t any better.

The best thing about the Palms is the service otherwise the food was reheated, overpriced and bland. We paid $35 for braised beef short ribs that tasted stale and burnt. The $18 half rack dry rub ribs came out with what looked like a brown sugar just poured on them after they came out of the microwave. We were not impressed with the food for the price but our waitress, Grace, was awesome!
Dietary restrictions: They do not offer gluten free options and the manager hadn’t ever even heard of it…? However, our waitress went out of her way to look on the bbq sauce label in the kitchen to verify it was gluten free.

This is an excellent place for comfort and good food the environment is good and the people are great especially Brenda she is the upmost best waitress and bartender or whatever she does that night she does excellent no matter what and the owner is an awesome and outstanding man who is family oriented and takes care of his staff and community Kevin Looney and Linda thanks for all you do !!!

I had good experience at this place... good food and customer service....specially Emily the bartender very nice lady...
We had a group of ten and Tiffany took great care of us. She was prompt with refills despite being busy with other tables. My only comment is that my wife and I each ordered a burger. I asked for two extra patties and she wanted just one. When our food arrived, I had several small patties and she had one large one. I was expecting to get 3 8 oz patties. When I inquired I was told they ran out of the patties. Considering that we paid extra for a pound of beef we didn't fully get was disappointing.

My husband and I called ahead an order for pick up as we were driving through town. The staff I interacted with to take our order and to check out were very kind and helpful. They made sure to check the food with us before we left to ensure everything looked right. The food was absolutely amazing. We got the Steak Special Sandwich and the Chicken Philly. Everything was hot and fresh, made to order, and absolutely delicious. Fries are always hit or miss when you order to go, but ours were perfect. I can't speak on service for dining in, but our experience was great. I would definitely try it again.

Drove up to Newberry SC for dinner at the Palms. It was a nice dinner. Service was attentive. I had the BBQ Shrimp and grits. It was good, but had too much sauce for me. I'd order again but ask for sauce on the side.
