Very Good food and service

Caesar salad was terrible. Ribeye was just okay. Mashed potatoes were very dry. Asked waitress for an extra dressing and they forgot to bring it out. Salads came out after main course. Very disappointing. Not going back there.

We all spoil eachother in this family. Today I decided to treat my Husband, and Ma to dinner at The Palms, and this neighborhood restaurant did not disappoint! The customer service was great, food we ordered was fresh and delicious! I ordered an oyster po boy, hubs ordered shrimp and grits, and ma got her favorite their fried seafood platter. If you visit Newberry stop by and check them out.

It was only expensive, due to alcoholic drinks but no complaints

Our waitress was really nice and that was the only redeeming quality of this place . The food (Patty melt & French dip) was flavorless & really greasy. Water had a funky taste & the fountain drinks weren’t any better.

The food was phenomenal! Service was as well. We had our pup and sat outside. The waitress brought out water for our pup. "Meatball."

The best thing about the Palms is the service otherwise the food was reheated, overpriced and bland. We paid $35 for braised beef short ribs that tasted stale and burnt. The $18 half rack dry rub ribs came out with what looked like a brown sugar just poured on them after they came out of the microwave. We were not impressed with the food for the price but our waitress, Grace, was awesome!

Dietary restrictions: They do not offer gluten free options and the manager hadn’t ever even heard of it…? However, our waitress went out of her way to look on the bbq sauce label in the kitchen to verify it was gluten free.
