Newberry, Main St. Got there last week 10/11/24 at 8:25 I was the last one they served. Food was good. Everyone that came behind me was told the grill was down for the next 30 minutes. My meal was $13.they turned away about 12 people (5 groups) 12x$13=$150? Tonight, 10/17/24, I got there at 8:35pm. The parking lot was empty, they met me at the door told me they were closed the next 25 minutes. Another $13-$15 loss, and I’m guessing they told others the same, because the lot was empty…it’s great food if they open…maybe they should change the open 24hrs. To open 20+ hours, they should put on their web site, closed 45 minutes every shift change, and list the shift change hours, I’m guessing 9:00pm is a shift change at this store.
Update: 10/18/24, staying in Whitmire, instead of driving to Newberry Waffle House, I went to union Waffle House, got there at 8:30, they did not shutdown for 35-40 minutes. It took the cook about 10 minutes to clean the grill, he had everything else done before hand.

Great food ! But .. it’s ALWAYS TOO cold to eat inside and enjoy your meal.. so to go orders is what they eventually force people into choosing ! - (which is an ADDITIONAL charge to what u would normally pay btw !! Smh ! So- good food/ customer service is ok most times.. just make sure you take A COAT or 2 if u want dine in ! Seriously.

First off my daughter turned 5 yesterday n told me she wanted breakfast from the waffle House so I went went before I went to work we had a good wait on our food we didn't receive not one refill on our drinks the waitress never came back out to our table at all I had to get up to ask for a to go plate and all she didnt give me not one bag to put out food in the service was really poor yesterday morning and I spent $453 on our food so sad of thw service we got yesterday morning

Food was well prepared, not The usual "greasy" food You usually get at waffle House. The bun was not saturated in the butter and it was prepared exactly as I had requested. The service was good in the atmosphere was clean, not a bunch of thug looking people hanging around.

I mean we all pretty much know about this place!! Not much to say, it's waffle House!!✌️❤️
Waitresses and cooks were not customer focused. I ordered hashbrowns extra crispy but they were not done. Cook had them on grill maybe 3 minutes. I hadn't even gotten my tea yet and cook said they were ready. Even the waitress said, "They are up already"? The mushrooms and onions werent even hot. I tried to eat them and while I was trying the waitress asked me was everything ok. I told her they were not crispy, hot or done. When she told the cook he said, "Well, why you eating them then"? referring to me. After that I requested a to-go plate. They were too busy horseplaying to focus on customers. When I was there last time the food was good but ladies were cooking and very focused on orders and customer service. I will not go there during lunch again. If I don't see the women that are usually there when I walk in I will just leave. I think the person in charge was named Lisa. The very tall black man was the one who barely cooked the food and made the rude comment. This was at 11 am at the Waffle House on Main Street, Newberry, SC.

Over all the food was good, cook seemed to be else where because they couldn’t get it together with our order, Staff was going back and forth with each other but it’s Waffle House for you. Our server was really sweet and made sure our table was tended to and did a great job conducting her self when the table across from us was giving her a hard time.
