Dined in today and the line was super long. Probably about 10 to 15 people ahead of me. But the girls behind the counter did a nice job to keep the line going. After getting my food it turns out one order was wrong. I told one of girls and she quickly corrected my order. She even let me keep the wrong food item. Overall a good experience.

The food is great, but the wait times vary a great deal. Today I waited 25 minutes for a chicken sandwich. At that point I requested a refund and went to another restaurant.

47 mins in the drive thru, I would like to meet the owner of this Zaxby's, I will call Cooporate and make sure they do something about it, cuz this is crazy, this is unacceptable, WORST ZAXBY'S EVER

I will NOT be back to this Zaxby's in Newberry EVER AGAIN!! When I pulled up the drive thru was around the building, at least 8 cars. I decided to go in to place my order. There was no one in line inside, one other person waiting on their order. I ordered a Zax sandwich and a garden salad. After 30 mins waiting inside, they had only filled 2 orders, the person before me and a door dash order. I noticed they were constantly fixing the drive thru orders, but only 2 orders for inside. At this point, I asked for a refund. The manager or person in charge comes up to give my money. I asked what was going on in the back that I had been waiting 30 mins and no food. She states there were only 2 people in the back. One for each side. Okay if the togo orders were being pushed out why were none of the orders for people inside not being filled. She still states there were only 2 people. Those 2 did not include herself who was in the back with them,(which makes 3) so I'm not sure what she was doing. I know drive thru gets priority, but at some point as a manager or person in charge, you have to step up and time manage, order manage get your hands dirty or do what it takes to get customers out the door. When she gave my money back, no apology, no response, no thank you or nothing. She gets an attitude with me!!!! This is the kind of
unprofessional behavior that makes me say, I will not be back and give a 1 Star Rating.
Zaxby's Newberry up have to do better. This is not the first time I have received less than desirable service at this location. And as I recall, This same manager was on duty . She has no professionalism or friendliness about her. Never a smile on her face. Just moves around slow as a snail like she is mad at the world. Y'all have to do better !!!

The place was busy is an understatement. However the staff were on it and were paying attention. I was very happy with the service. Wish I caught the names of the gentleman at the register and the lady putting together orders. They really do deserve a shout out.

I’m normally not one to complain I placed an online order today went to pick it up in store and the girl working the front was the most unpleasant person had no energy and was very rude I also did not get my drink or my sauces

Spent 40 minutes in the drive through, had to tell them 3 times what I ordered, and all it was was 2 wrap meals. It was easy to see why when we got to the window - I’ve seen snails move faster!!! Could have eaten at El Poblano faster than going through the FAST FOOD drivethrough. Oh, and by the way…they forgot the straws and the French fries weren’t hot.

Worst Zaxbys experience I have ever encountered. People waiting excess of 30 to 45 minutes for food. Staff walking all around the building hanging out in the lobby with their friends while customers wait. Very unprofessional. Fix your stores.

The place was not clean. Waited 40 minutes on my order and the two ladies working the counter acted as if it were a burden to help the customers. The. To top it all off. The order was WRONG. While waiting on my ordered I watched the employee lie to a customer and told him he had never asked for his food. When he had asked her three times. I do give them five stars for, well there is nothing to even rate them the one star they are getting in this review

I placed my order and paid for it, and the young lady at the window asked me to pull forward to wait for my order. Right after she asked me to pull forward , she said to the other young lady with her at the window that “she did not know who was going to take it out there because she was not going out there in the rain”.
Fifteen minutes after I had pulled forward, I went inside and I presented my receipt to the young lady at the counter. I asked who the manager was and I spoke with her. She looked at my receipt, asked them where my order was, reviewed the order screen and then asked them again because she said it had been 15 minutes after I paid. The manager went to the grill area and spoke with someone, 5-7 minutes later a different young lady brought my order to the front counter…. I checked my order and then proceeded black to my car.
No apologies or other words from any of the employees… They was not short handed because there was half dozen or more employees behind the counter.
The printed receipt did not print clearly, & the information is unreadable on it. My visit started approximately 8:32 p.m. on 5-03-2025, at the Newberry South Carolina location, Order number is DT#330, employee name looks like Karmel G

the kickin it chicken would be really good if you didn't overgrill the bread it comes on.. i'd say over half the times i've had it (across multiple zaxby's locations, too) the bread has been pretty much burned, at least around the edges.. then the lady cleaning while i was there last did a good job in the dining area, but that seemed to be the only area she kept put in.. there was a significant (water) spill in the men's bathroom that remained for the entire length of time i was there (washed hands before eating, then had to use it shortly before i left.. and then this is more for restaurants/businesses in general, but especially restaurants, because of the exposure to food, we need to get away from using these really cheap cleaning products.. i know everyone is so concerned (unfortunately, btw) about cleanliness since covid, but to have that floating around the air while you're eating and your food is exposed to it, is not healthy, either.. we're just trading one problem for another by doing that :(.. i do like your food, and experience, overall, it's just if these changes could be made, both would become really excellent!! thank you
