Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

It won't disappoint. All kinds of good options for any meal.

I placed my order and paid for it, and the young lady at the window asked me to pull forward to wait for my order. Right after she asked me to pull forward , she said to the other young lady with her at the window that “she did not know who was going to take it out there because she was not going out there in the rain”.
Fifteen minutes after I had pulled forward, I went inside and I presented my receipt to the young lady at the counter. I asked who the manager was and I spoke with her. She looked at my receipt, asked them where my order was, reviewed the order screen and then asked them again because she said it had been 15 minutes after I paid. The manager went to the grill area and spoke with someone, 5-7 minutes later a different young lady brought my order to the front counter…. I checked my order and then proceeded black to my car.
No apologies or other words from any of the employees… They was not short handed because there was half dozen or more employees behind the counter.
The printed receipt did not print clearly, & the information is unreadable on it. My visit started approximately 8:32 p.m. on 5-03-2025, at the Newberry South Carolina location, Order number is DT#330, employee name looks like Karmel G

the kickin it chicken would be really good if you didn't overgrill the bread it comes on.. i'd say over half the times i've had it (across multiple zaxby's locations, too) the bread has been pretty much burned, at least around the edges.. then the lady cleaning while i was there last did a good job in the dining area, but that seemed to be the only area she kept put in.. there was a significant (water) spill in the men's bathroom that remained for the entire length of time i was there (washed hands before eating, then had to use it shortly before i left.. and then this is more for restaurants/businesses in general, but especially restaurants, because of the exposure to food, we need to get away from using these really cheap cleaning products.. i know everyone is so concerned (unfortunately, btw) about cleanliness since covid, but to have that floating around the air while you're eating and your food is exposed to it, is not healthy, either.. we're just trading one problem for another by doing that :(.. i do like your food, and experience, overall, it's just if these changes could be made, both would become really excellent!! thank you

I'm realizing it's hit or miss worth this location... my first encounter was a hit... the line was long but that was ok... my second encounter was a miss... I went in 35 mins before close... there was a long line so I went inside.... and after standing there for 15 mins and not being acknowledged... I left... I understand being busy... but food being bagged and made for friends etc... while I stood there and listened and watched... but I was completely ignored... and because I don't like confrontations when you are dealing with food... I decided to leave .... I'm from our of town so it was my last opportunity.... maybe my next visit will bs better

Needed a quick bite mid day. Speedy drive thru. Pleasant staff. Delicious fries!

Giving a 2 star because we enjoy Zaxbys from time to time across all locations, but this location in particular is consistently disappointing. It may be because they are new, but their staff frequently misses things (drinks, sauces, fry seasoning, etc.) all the time. We even remind them at the window and they still manage to not give the things we request.

Overall the food was good

I ordered the lemon pepper meal. The tiny bantam wings were so hard and dry you couldn't eat them. Of course this was the Newberry Zaxbys, so you couldn't really expect any better.

Ordered online got to store and they had a sign up saying that they are closed but yet you leave the online ordering available and then when I contact to get a refund, I am told I must wait for business weeks and hours to hear back

I've had better here in the past.

I have sat in this drive thru for almost 20 minutes waiting on 2 Wings and Things. I watched 3 girls stand there and talk. One guy come from the back of the kitchen area to talk to someone else. A worker get herself something to drink all at the same time I and many more were waiting. I was given drinks first so by the time I got my meal my ice was melted and no longer good. There was also one girl having a full conversation on the store phone while standing there talk to workers as well. I will most likely not return to this restaurant. Please check your workers.
