The store owners will be glad to provide samples if it’s your first visit…or second….

This is a “must see” when exploring South Carolina and the unique town of Ninety Six. Having been in business over 100 years, they have such a fascinating history. We loved exploring the gift shop with a multitude of packaged pecans such as pineapple jalepeno pecan, pecan brittle, pecan toffee, white chocolate dipped pecans and so much more. Charlotte was most generous in providing samples and explaining the history of 96 Pecan Company. Then we got a most informative tour by John of how the processing of pecans are done. We had no idea that there are hundreds of types of pecan trees and John was so excited to share his knowledge of all the stages of processing the nuts, and ran many of the machines to show how it is done. Seriously, if you have an opportunity, take the time to explore, learn and buy special treats. We will be back!!!

I can't do nuts so the owner gives me the dark chocolate camels with sea salt. I'm hooked!! Delicious! My husband got the candied pecans, he is hooked as well! Highly recommend!!

OMG. So nice. It was almost closing and they didn't rush us at all. Clean well stocked store. Candied nuts like I have never seen before. And roasted, salted pecans are perfect! Anyone would love gifts from here!
