“I have to be honest, I have only been on Sunday's for their $10 Meat & 3 (White people food..LOL). Their pork chops are fabulous, and their Chicken Fried Steak is pretty good. I do have plans to come and try their Mexican food. It's just so hard to pass up such a wonderful meal deal. Whatever you decide, I can tell you, you can't go wrong here. Las Cascadas...I see you amigo! 👀 I'll be back so you can impress me again.”

“If I still lived in South Carolina, I would’ve been back again already, but I think about this bar like once every other week. This place is distinctive and friendly, with pool tables and vintage NASCAR memorabilia from floor to ceiling.Beers come out of a cooler on ice. Real chill place. Hear they have music under normal conditions. One of my favorite bars I’ve ever visited.”

“Drove from Waterloo to Ninety-six to try the China 1 Chinese restaurant. Has good word of mouth reviews around this area. Have simply quit eating Chinese out in Greenwood and Laurens. The place is mostly a take-out but there are tables for dining in. The atmosphere is bland to say the least. The food is really good. In this area it's the best I've had. I like to test a new place so I ordered the Roast Pork with Chinese Vegs. Combo and egg roll. Very impressed for this area. Roast pork was real Char Sue pork and plenty of it. There were Chinese Vegs with large dose of Broccoli and Carrots. Fairly normal now. Fried rice was simple but tasty. Not frozen with the peas and square carrots. The eggs rolls are delicious and probably hand made in house. My wife had the Sesame Chicken, which was as good as I have had. This is a book you don't judge by its cover. Take out service was very brisk while we were there. There is no table service or fountain drinks. Grab a drink out the fridge and order at the window. In this area this is Five Star Food.”

“It’s different. You order from a menu at a counter, be seated and your food is brought to your table. One thing that is not different is the delicious, down south home cooked food The staff is also the best southern hospitality and friendliness. Yes , a little different, nothing fancy, but you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.!”

“Tonight’s two meals…chicken livers with mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans, and cornmeal coated fried catfish fillets with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies well….were cooked perfect and great quantity! Mike and Brenda and their team know how to take great care of their customers! Good food, excellent service, and very fair pricing. It’s hometown grand mom type of cooking. We have been here in Cross Hill since September ‘21, and have found ourselves eating here for lunch and dinner many times! (It’s become a weekly “must-do”. You can’t go wrong with their sandwiches and burgers, salads, meat and two/three meals, or desserts! I’m a big foodie, and this place does it right! 5 stars plus!!!”

“We came in an hour before closing and were still greeted warmly and kindly, like family, which already tells you everything you need to know about this place.

I ordered the white meat fried chicken, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and made the way real soul food is supposed to be made.

The collard greens were easily the best I have ever had. Full of flavor, cooked with care, and clearly made by someone who knows exactly what they are doing.
The cornbread was spot on. Lightly sweetened, not dry, not cake, just right.
The macaroni and cheese was unbelievable. Homemade, light, cheesy, not greasy, and absolutely blows you out of the water.

The service was excellent from start to finish.

Honestly, why is this place not packed, Greenwood? You are missing out on real soul food.

“stopped by to get cupcakes and there wasn't any options to choose from - only containers with 4 different cupcakes in each container - was hoping for a display of various types/flavors of cupcakes to choose from - was kind of disappointed. I will say the lady working was very pleasant and the shop was clean and welcoming - just not a variety to choose from that I was hoping for.”
