“It’s different. You order from a menu at a counter, be seated and your food is brought to your table. One thing that is not different is the delicious, down south home cooked food The staff is also the best southern hospitality and friendliness. Yes , a little different, nothing fancy, but you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.!”

“Been looking forward to this visit all week. I'd heard they had renovated, but they kept it charming and full of character. And the dogs, son, you don't even need to ask. They aren't snappy dogs. But they top them very generously. And the chili is just right, tangy, meaty enough. Love this place.”

“The place was super nice and very clean. Food didn’t take long to get. Only complaints I have is the rice came cold… and the three soft drinks I tried were super watered down. Besides the cold rice, the pollo fundido was actually pretty good! Wouldn’t mind trying it again, just would like the rice actually hot next time lol.”

“First time eating at The R Place. For that nice of a restaurant, and the cost to eat there, I was disappointed. My wife and I both had soups. There were very few potatoes in her soup, and the crap soup was heavy on the cheese and sherry, but not crab. I will say the bacon honey dressing is wonderful. I won't think of eating there again when dining out.”
