This is kind of a hidden gem as there are gas pumps somewhat blocking the parking lot and a ways off the highway going through town. Food and service were excellent. Cheeseburger was as good as they say in the reviews.

This was my first time getting lunch at Derick's. I bought a cheeseburger with half & half ( fries and rings). It was delicious. Atmosphere was homie yet quiet. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. It took less than 20min to get my hot freshly made food. Kudos to the cooker of my delicious lunch.

We were visiting state park in the area and found Derick's Cafe on Google. Great food and service. Located in a strip mall off the road which can be a challenge to see. We had bacon cheeseburger with onion rings (large serving] and chicken fried steak with cheese tots (almost a meal by themselves). Prices are reasonable ($25 for our meal). Worth the stop if you get a chance.

We were in the area visiting Lake Greenwood State Park for the Ultimate Outsider Challenge and found Derick's Cafe on Google. Service was very friendly and food excellent. We had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings (generous portion) and chicken fried steak with cheese tots (almost a meal just tots). Restaurant is in a strip mall building and not the easiest to locate but definitely worth the effort. Stop by for a meal. You will not be disappointed.

We are camping this week at Greenwood Lake and decided to go into the quaint little town of 96. Along the way, we came across Derricks Cafe. What a little gem! The best cheeseburger that I have ever had! Reasonable prices and great service. The place is small and sort of plain. No music (could use some)
