Hushpuppies and shrimp were as good as always!Food: 5/5
Just a wonderful experience, while waiting for my catfish, bone in, dinner I had a great conversation with an elderly couple on a golf cart! Lindsay was awesome, a delightful host. I highly recommend Ts. The food is just as good as the old hwy 56 location. The hush puppies are amazing, get extra tartar sauce, you will need it.
Hands down the BEST fried seafood. I am not a hushpuppy fan but these are heaven! I'll admit dining room is nothing to talk about, small. But the food quality ?! Reinhardt has nothing on Downton Ts
Ive tried 5he shrimp.at Downtown T's Compaired with the shrimp from Old McDonald's Fish camp.T's lives up to the quality it has had since I was a little girl. I want never go back to Old mcdonald's! T's is alround better tasting.!!And they same good hush puppies that I get 5hete whenbit was w little girl.Go to Downtown T's. Old Mcdonald's is over rated!
Served fresh and HOT! Great food and friendly service. Best little jewel to find! I'll be back to visit.
Great food, been a family favorite for a long time. Kinda cramped seating at peak times, but a wonderful staff mostly and you won’t be disappointed in the meal choices.
Great hush puppies. Fried shrimp was tasty. Whole catfish was also terrific, not mealy, good flavor. Busy on a Saturday at lunch. Some may not like paper plates and plastic forks but if you want good food they have it.
Ate at T's on Hwy 56 in Augusta for over 50 years. Finally visited the new T's in North Augusta. I was not disappointed. The food was just like the old T's. Even the world's best hushpuppies were the same. The dining room is small, it looks to be a mostly carryout place. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to visiting again.
Still some of the best hush puppies around after all these decades. The inside is amusing. The sitting area is about the size of your home dining room (If you have a small house). Small sitting area outside too. Awesome food though! Yummy chicken strips.
I'm absolutely very disappointed I took my mom and my grandmother and my son here for lunch on a Saturday my son and my grandma had the lunch flounder basket my mom and I had ordered the 3 entree with fries and Cole slaw first of all the portions were very small the coleslaw was in a condiment cup for $3 we were charged for the entrees but received the $9 lunch baskets whichincluded one piece of fish 10 french fries and 3 scallops check was $120.00for absolutely nothing so when I called back to explain to them that their prices were a little over priced it was brought to my attention we were charged for the wrong thing after speaking to the manager Emily who stated she would call me back after she talk to the owner who by the way didn't call me back I had to call them back 2 weeks later and as I'm telling her the story again she states me there's no way we only gave you one piece of fish on the flounder basket so I stated you didn't that was right but wait a minute everyone makes mistakes your cooks and servers are not perfect and just remake my food right or refund me for what I was charged for in which she offered I was satisfied with that but I will not go back there or recommend anyone to visit because the way I was treated it was just uncalled for my problem is she tried to make me feel as tho I was lying about the mistake kept asking me the same questions over and over again she was rude and defensive now let me also give a little about my background I was a restaurant manager and I've served tables but if a $24 meal is going to break you then u might not need to be in business it's very unfortunate that they lost a customer because the food was good the server did good but she made a mistake own up to it so with that being said maybe the next mistake you guys will own up to and call your customer back and not make the customer feel uncomfortable with a complaint because as a manager Emily it good to know feed back and what's going on but I guess I forgot where I was as a use to be restaurant manager I've heard all the stereotypes of all races black Asian white Spanish so I know why I was treated that way and shame on you ! She didn't even say goodbye she hung up in my face As I stated before there was nothing wrong with the food or service we just didn't get what we paid for we came we been and we saw but never again!! Thanks but no thanks ! Remember word of mouth goes a long way !
Food was almost as good as the original Ts. Hushpuppies were spot on! Yummy!! Liked the outdoor seating, only wish there was more.Too crowded inside to dine comfortably. Ate outside but there was only room for 3 tables. Suggest a cover/canopy of some sort due to inclimate weather and when the idiots at the gas station are blowing the parking lot debris over the fence into your food and drink. Also if more space, we wouldn't have had to listen to 4 unhappy and unrealistic women complaining about each and every thing their server was doing or not doing. The only silence we had from them is when their food came.??Miss the salad boat. Miss real plates, real silverware, and real drinking glasses. Miss the space of a restaurant. Not thrilled with the surcharge fee when using a credit card and a hospitality fee that was added for only 2 of us.Maybe with enough support from the community, another Ts restaurant will be able to open.Features: For me, the tables too close inside to feel comfortable.
Ambience. A Service. A Food. B+ Price. A It's a seafood run and operated family business over 65 years! I no longer have to drive out to Hwy 56 where the original T's I grew up with as a kid was a huge restaurant. I miss the boat salad bar! Unfortunately, it burned down sometimes in the last 5-10 years- not sure of the history. Anyway; much closer for me personally and smaller establishment found in downtown North Augusta in a building that's gone through many other businesses. I hope they're able to stay awhile. Today April 2022. Post Covid restrictions. No mask on any server or guests. It's a choice to wear mask. Nice. Walked in to bright and clean place. Few tables inside and few tables outside with lighting. Didn't know protocol and approached counter with friendly cashier asking if take out or dining in. Table service is available. So, sat outside with view of the parking lot. Nice day though. Server was very friendly but really didn't know the product well but at least he went in and asked questions. Ordered the fried oysters ala carte. 6 pieces for $9 and I think 10 was $15. They were perfectly fried , nice batter, and moist small size oysters. Accompanied with housemade tarter and cocktail sauce. Still memory of great flavors. The Oyster STew... well, I'll describe more like light cream watery butter broth. Had 4 (or5?) oysters. Im not a fan of the stew (milky broth). It's a style... if stew, just not my favorite. Bottomless unsweetened ice tea. Would I come back. ...yes...can't wait to try the fish and chips, shrimp dinners and catfish! So, far...I'm a Fan! Good luck T's!
My husband had fried shrimp and I had the catfish filets. The hush puppies were large and so tasty. The food was great and hot like just like in the old days! We'll be back!

Atmosphere is that of a fast food place. The food is still good but very high priced for a fast food atmosphere. The menu has a lot missing. Ok to grab a fast bite but nothing like the old T's in Augusta which gave you a restaurant atmosphere. Also parking is terrible and they only have 1 restroom.
