Highlander A British Pub

Place appears to be a local hole in the basement. Can’t comment on much as I didn’t really stay. Sat at bar and no bartender in sight. British pub had no English beer. Plenty of dart boards but you’d be drinking regular ol’ non English beer

We came for Guinness and food but there is no food tonight. The bartender said she could maybe get us a shepherds pie but because she's by herself, that's all she can offer.

It’s a really cool dive bar with free darts and pool. The drinks are good and well priced and that bartenders are awesome.

This place has an employee named Lauren, who really needs to be fired!! She's got medium, long black hair. She should not be working there or anywhere for that matter. She threatened a close someone of mine with a bar stool/chair when they were doing nothing but what they went there for.
I've worked in the food industry/hospitality service, and whatever it is that expects you to stay later than your actual off time. Why? Because you always have your side work, your nightly or daily counts of items, making sure you are ready for the next shift, whatever the reason may be. So, to yell at complete strangers that are doing nothing to you, calling us basically kidnappers, and threatening to throw a heavy enough object to a person bc you're upset about whatever, really shows your mental state is not on point. That was rude, unprofessional, and just plain ignorant. You should've been the one who got arrested.
All in all, LAUREN (if that's your real name) NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!

Very violent atmosphere. Me and my date was treated with the most disrespect then any place I been in along while. They act like a big gang and everyone is unfriendly especially the bar maid. I was trying my best not to take things to another level. I never been so uncomfortable. I'm looking into legal actions as we speak

Kid-friendliness: I would not recommend kids. It's a violent place. The good reviews come from the ones that are there.

Authentic British pub with great staff and an open mic night with great local musicians and a selection of house instruments available to play. Great local hangout that was definitely lucky to stumble upon!

Met up with friends that I haven't seen in over 30 years. Had fun, told stories, and laughed. This place is a landmark in North Augusta. Good friends with the original owners.
