My friends and I enjoyed our lunch. Each got something different and all was very good. You can tell a great deal of thought and preparation goes into each meal. Our server was pleasant and helpful. McNeely’s is a real gem for North Augusta.

We ordered Thanksgiving catering from McNeely’s and it was absolutely phenomenal — truly one of the best holiday meals our family has had. Every single dish was incredible, but the green bean casserole was completely out of this world (my dad is still talking about it). The pecan pie with the homemade whipped topping was unreal, and the sweet potato casserole and ham were just as amazing.
The portions were extremely generous — honestly, our only regret was not having more people to share the food with because it deserved a bigger audience. You can taste the care, quality ingredients, and pride that goes into everything they make.
McNeely’s made our Thanksgiving stress-free and genuinely special. We are so grateful for the hard work, consistency, and heart behind this business and will absolutely be ordering again. If you’re considering catering, do not hesitate — they deliver excellence.

The staff is always friendly. The food that I have had has always been very good. The bread is delicious. I like the chicken and stuffing, chicken and dumplings, and most vegetables are seasoned and taste good.

McNeely’s Place is one of those places that feels like a warm hug. It’s like literally eating at someone’s house right after church. I took my grandmother there often and would get to go plates for lunch. My mom loves it, and I totally get why. The food tastes home-cooked and from scratch, the portions are generous, and it has that cozy “grandma’s dining room” comfort that’s hard to find.
Their special cornbread (I think it’s pineapple) is the star for our family (my mom Always orders an extra side) and you have to save room for dessert, if you are too full…take it to go! The cake is genuinely delicious and you won’t be sorry. Everything we’ve had tastes like somebody cared, not like it came out of a freezer. The staff is so kind and patient, hard to find these days. They really know the food and menu and can help you make a decision if you’re torn on what to order.
Bonus: the menu changes, so it’s fun to come back and see what they’re serving next. If you want real Southern comfort food in North Augusta, this is the spot.

There is nothing comparable to their food in the CSRA! It’s so good. My husband took me there, to try somewhere new and now I request it anytime we go out to eat. So good!!! Also, I love the quaint atmosphere.

McNeely’s is such a perfect place. These are folks that genuinely care about their patrons, their community. They are friendly, and provide a home style dining experience. The food is always excellent. Portions are large. They can get pretty busy on Sunday, so be prepared to wait just a little if you’re going right around church dismissal. I haven’t been there very recently, (it’s time to go back)but heard about a complaint with paper plates..not sure if that’s true…but hey- less time washing dishes, more time to prepare your next great meal!! Love your place, and see ya soon!
