My husband and I love the homemade food we are served at Mcneely’s. It is so relaxing to go to a restaurant that has delicious food and awesome servers. They make you feel like they are so glad to wait on people and the food is really worth eating. We like the meatloaf or the smothered chicken.Sometimes we get takeout. I have always been satisfied with what we ordered and the deserts are so good. They care about you as a customer and always make you feel welcome. If I ate there everyday I would be fatter than I am.now.

Ordered meatloaf dinner with Mac and cheese and squash casserole. Meatloaf wasn't bad but was a little bland. Mac and cheese was so dry that day I could not eat it...squash casserole wasn't bad either but tasted like non I have ever tasted before. The best thing was the jalapeño corn bread which was awesome but did not makeup for disappointment in the other food choices I made. Altogether, it was just ok...nothing more.

My daughter and I had lunch a few weeks ago at McNeely's. I usually get the BLT. So that day I decided to get it again. Of Course it was delicious. Another favorite I like to get is the Smothered Chicken with stuffing. It is AWESOME. The day we went they were very busy. But the wait was not to bad and the service was wonderful. The waitress we had kept telling us she was sorry for it taking to long. But it really wasn't long at all. So yes, I suggest everyone try McNeely's. You will be greeted with wonderful southern hospitality and delicious food. Make sure you try some of the great deserts they have also. We have ate there many times over the past 2 years. We love the service and food.

People were upset that I complained that it took 35 minutes to get a called in order It was very busy but kept leaving food on cashier counter and a piece of pie fell off the large to go box and fell on floor It was finally replaced but the original piece was placed back on the counter This is third time I waited over 30 minutes for a called in order Pay and then wait a long time for food Have eaten in with no problems but get food for a home ridden person Ended up bagging food and going to another restaurant to get plastic silverware since this person wanted plastic silverware Food okay Desserts really good as are vegetables and shepherds pie

I was extremely disappointed. The food was just so, so. Below is a photo and a video of what I got for $14.95. It’s supposed to be chicken and dumplings, but was little more than a cup of soup with a few dumplings in it. I’ve had canned chicken and dumplings that had a better taste. Cracker Barrel’s is much better, cheaper and actually has chicken and more than four, quarter-sized dumplings in it.

The service was amazing, fast and friendly! The food was very traditional Southern home style offerings with a menu that apparently changes weekly. I LOVED the dressing and have not had anything like it before. A very fun and tasty experience - that caramel cake was a show stopper though! Highly recommend!

Wife and I ordered the roast beef sandwich, which came with fries. Sandwich was good, but a bit light on the meat. More bread then anything. Fries were hot and fresh though. Our server was good and the restaurant was clean, if a bit small. All together, for the price, I expected a bit more.

OMG! This was my first visit here, and it was exceptional! Best Mac n Cheese I've ever had, and I'm a foodie! So I've had my share! Everything else we ordered was amazing as we'll. Looking forward to visiting and try other menu items!
