I really enjoyed this place. It is very well hidden at the start of a subdivision, but the food is really well made. I had the Cuban sandwich alongside a pimento cheese spread as an appetizer and both were delicious. If you're looking for a hidden gem, this is one of those places.

I heard good things about this place and was utterly disappointed. I came in, ordered the goat cheese and bacon flatbread, and was greeted some 30 minutes later with what I could only describe as a glorified saltine for 14$. I was fooled and paid the price for it doubly as so when I ordered the orange blossom cocktail, which had spirits so strong it was like drinking 3 old fashioned-es as once and I left with a throbbing headache and a stomach still growling.

Awful 😖. $14.5 for goat cheese, bacon, and onion Flatbread 🫓 that tastes like old flour. Seating inside is crunched. Not handicapped accessible no handicapped spaces or parking.

Think dry Ritz cracker style flavorless bread. I was expecting something entirely different. This should be no more than $8.

We have gone several times, both brunch and dinners. Tonight for dinner the food was good. Three people, we enjoyed a table outside with the nice weather ( not too much room inside). Reasonable prices, 3 meals, 2 apps, and 2 drinks each. About $50 / person. Very relaxed atmosphere. After dinner nice to walk down to the greenway and walk along the greenway.

Wonderful food. They let me sub the hoagie ony sandwich for flat bread and it was great. They have a fully stocked bar and can make any cocktail you want. Even ended up being cheaper than the listed specialty cocktails.

The larder has been a regular spot of ours for the last few years. Typically we go once a month when the weather is nice because we love to sit outside. We have noticed a significant decline in service over the last 3-4 visits. Our last several visits we’ve been seated within a reasonable time but it takes 15-20 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and take drink orders.
Our most recent visit we went for brunch and were seated immediately. Once the server came out (again probably 15 minutes after we were seated) we immediately ordered 2 bottled beers, an appetizer, and one order of French toast (plain) for the kids to share. The appetizer came out before our bottled beers did, which seemed odd, But the server claimed the bar was backed up. I noticed a couple that was seated after us got their mixed drinks (a mimosa and a Bloody Mary from the looks of it) before we received our bottled beers, so I doubt it was actually a bar issue. At that point we ordered our entrees. When the kids French toast arrived it was fully loaded with toppings/sauces. I let them know it was supposed to be plain and asked them to remake it. Our main entrees came out a little later, and still no French toast for the kids. My husband and I had essentially finished our meals before they were able to make 1 slice of plain French toast. I understand they may have been busy but half of the tables outside were empty, so it’s not like they were at capacity. The server did apologize and took the French toast off our tab, but it took an hour for the kids to get their one slice of French toast to share from the time we ordered - you would think since they made it wrong the first time it would have been more of a priority. We requested the check and 15+ minutes later, we still hadn’t received it. Ultimately my husband had to go inside and request to pay at the front.
The two visits before our last visit we went for brunch and I ordered the hot honey chicken biscuit- the first time the chicken was so dry, burnt, and overcooked I sent it back. The replacement was still overcooked but it was at least edible. The next visit I decided to try it again thinking it was an off day, but the same thing happened - I received an almost black piece of fried chicken.
I will say the fried avocado is always delicious and the location is great. We always loved it being next to the neighborhood playground so the kids could entertain themselves, but I think we have given them more than enough chances to redeem themselves only to be left disappointed. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. I hope that they’re able to turn things around because it really is a great location and used to be a family favorite.

The place is super cute, in the heart of a beautiful housing community. The menu has literally anything for everyone. We had two appetizers and split an entree. We each had a cocktail and the service was amazing, they even have local honey for sale(big plus). We will definitely come back.

This was my first time here and it was great, server was sweet, sweet Tyler. I ordered the hangover burger, medium. And oh boy! Delicious! The best breakfast burger I’ve had like ever! The place was def a vibe! I’m from San Antonio so it def gave Southtown vibes for me and I loved it.

95% of the menu is fried food. The quality of the food is B- at best. The servings are less than generous. I ordered a $17 special catfish sandwich and substituted fried pickles for my side. The total was $27 before tax and tip. 1/2 dozen wings will cost you about $16. The quality of the food and the serving size do not match the prices they charge. I would say that Larder over charges and under delivers. I always regret ordering takeout from Larder. I suggest saving your time and money by avoiding eating there.

The food was amazing, flavorful, delicious, and well-prepared. I appreciate the use of local, wholesome ingredients and the fact that the restaurant has a farm nearby. We ordered the Fried Catfish salad special and it was more than expected , packed with flavor. The atmosphere is the cozy, quaint, and pleasant, especially the outdoor seating area. The outdoor space is family-friendly, and ideal for enjoying the weather. The prices are also reasonable. Friendly staff also makes this place easy to rate 5 stars, but we did have a large group so service was a little slow this time.

This is the best restaurant burger I have had. The Crispy bacon Swiss burger is absolutely amazing and cooked to order. With slightly crispy edges and the sautéed onions, just incredible. Waffle fries are incredible. Exceptional service. Thank you for a great lunch. I will definitely be back.

We went on trivia night. Thursday. Service was 5 star. Kinda pricey but I'm sure the rent is sky high. The flat bread caprese was excellent.
Lots of fun at trivia. Cold beer was great.
