Burning 99 offers a really fun and interactive dining experience! The self-cooking concept is unique, and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we knew how everything worked.

That said, the space could definitely use better air conditioning — it got pretty warm with all the grills going. There were lots of fans, but it wasn’t quite enough. The music was also a bit loud, which made it hard to hear each other at times.

Still, the overall vibe was lively and the food was worth it. With a few tweaks to comfort, this place could be perfect. Would still recommend for a fun night out!

Been a few times now and keep coming back. Great selections of meats for the BBQ. They have ribeye, NY strip, and prime grade brisket. The waitresses here are always so nice too.

Bonus: the lunch price is really good.

Super hot and uncomfortable, barely ate because let’s face it, who wants to eat soup when it’s as hot inside as it is outside. The little i did eat (not even close to worth the $40 pp) was great. Even the water felt like it came straight from a bath tub. The $4 soda was warm, and condensation was not only all over the can but dripping from the ceiling or maybe that’s the sweat dripping from my neighbor… who knows at this point really. I better start saying my prayers because if this is what hell is like, I don’t want to go. Thank you burnin 99 for helping me find Jesus. However our waitress was absolutely amazing!! Mary I believe! She’s a gem!

The people and place are awesome the meat and sauces and veggies where so awesome and the ladies that helped us are the best I’ve ever known. The restaurant is not setup for a hot pot style eating and will need updated before it is nice inside well over 90degress while eat is hard

I frequently dine at Burnin99 when I am working down in North Charleston. There are a variety of food options so that everybody can get something that they like. You can choose between Korean BBQ, Hot Pot or both. I particularly love all of the different sauces and ingredients available at the sauce bar so that you can customize your own dipping sauce. There is also a section for some appetizers such as Kimchi, spring rolls, and even chicken nuggets for picky eaters. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. They are more than willing to offer tips or even bring you their own sauce combos that they have created for your meal. They also have ice cream, cakes and fruits for whatever sort of dessert you are craving. I look forward to coming back next time I am in the area!

I highly recommend this Korean bbq hotpot the quality of the food are amazing the staff are amazing too, i would say they got the best customer service and best quality korean bbq and hotpot. ❤️❤️

I really liked this restaurant. The food was fresh, service was really good, and plenty of parking. I just wasn't a fan of the self service drink area. I would have preferred to have fresh brewed Tea than soda options.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Coming from out of state this was definitely a pleasant surprise to enjoy. However my only reservation to why I possibly would not come back is because it was extremely extremely extremely hot in there. Factoring in all of the stoves that everyone was using and it being over 100° outside I have some older family members who needed well air-conditioned facilities due to medical issues.

I come to this place every other weekend and it's always a great experience! The staff are wonderful and friendly, and the cuts of meat are always great. Our server Lana is the best!
