Callie's Hot Little Biscuit Production Facility

I’m a ‘(local)’ and I have enjoyed watching this businesses TV show series over the years on SC-PBS-TV. I always wanted to try out this business at one of their local areas. Today, I was not impressed with the food or the service. My order was the BLT, and my partners was the Fried Chicken Buscuit. After I got our order and had to ask for my sales receipt which was handed to me without this person saying anything to me, I took our order over to the seating area outside the glass doors to eat. When I opened mine, it was a disaster…the biscuit was crumbled and not a whole biscuit as you can view from the picture I took. My partner said that hers was tasty but cold, as was mine too. I had to pick up my crumbled up biscuit with my fingers since I couldn’t hold it. I ended up throwing it away as you can see in the picture. I also wasn’t impressed by the customer service. The lady who waited on us was polite but once my order was in she left and went back to the area where the food was being prepared and I ended up finishing my debit card transaction. When the transaction was complete, I wanted a receipt, so I hit receipt and it didn’t come out on my end but behind the counter because I had to request it from the older gentleman who was standing there doing something. He tore it off and didn’t even once look at me when I asked for it and handed it to me. Still no one said thank you. When my order was ready, my name was called and a younger gentleman handed it to me and he did say thank you. After watching your television show for years and seeing how you strive on customer service and the quality of your food, I wasn’t impressed. I’m a local, and I didn’t feel like going back up to your counter and explain all this. Hopefully you’ll make it right for all customers. Say what you want in response…but whoever does reply, you weren’t there when this all occurred.

To make a delivery on an 18 wheeler, it's kind of a hassle. But good people and friendly.

Have not been to a callies restaurant but have tried there products from the store. I love the biscuit crisp which are good with pimento cheese.

What appears to be mold was found when I opened my product. I contacted Callie’s corporate office but they passed the buck and blamed it on the retailer. They didn’t seem interested in quality control when I brought this to their attention. I suggested an $8 refund for my inedible product, but they passed the buck there too. Product had a sell by date 25 days from my purchase date. Can you just imagine another 25 days on the shelf?

The breakfast sandwiches were SO good! I had a fried egg, roasted tomatoes, arugula, and Mayo on a cheddar habanero biscuit (nice kick!) and my husband had sausage, egg, and pimento cheese on a buttermilk biscuit. Delish!!

We had bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits, and a birthday biscuit. They were not memorable. Dry, and without a lot of taste. Sorry, this was a recommendation from a friend, but did not work for us. The icing on the birthday biscuit was good, however.

These are some of the best biscuits I have had, growing up in the south that is a hard claim to live by. Hubby had biscuits and gravy and I had the bacon and cheese.

If you like biscuits, this is the place to go. Their bacon, egg and cheese biscuit was really well done. For such a small place, service was fast

So excited that they now have a line of their biscuits at Whole Foods so I can get a little taste of Charleston when I’m not there! So flaky, delicious, & decadent.

Delicious biscuits, and the virtual class was a ton of fun! Definitely recommend it!

This is probably the single nicest customer service experience I have ever had. We were staying nearby the Market and I happened to get to the market about 30 min before they opened. The Market location is located in an air conditioned section behind glass doors. Since I got there early I was hesitant to enter the glass doors but the employees welcomed me in and were happy to answer questions I had, even before they officially opened. They also took my order 20 min before they formally opened and were very gracious dealing with my indecisiveness (because everything looked and sounded amazing). At check out, the woman helping me (I’m kicking myself for not catching her name) said “there was so extra space in the box so I threw in 2 more biscuits and also some Gingerbread biscuits since I made you wait so long” (this was during the Holiday season). Mind you: they opened early for me and then apologized for taking a long time (which they didn’t; it was super fast) by essentially doubling my order for free for no reason. I have very rarely felt compelled to come back and write a review, positive or negative. But this was different. The biscuits and accoutrements are amazing and well worth any wait, but the customer service was even better. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed everything we got from Callie's. The biscuits were tasty and the selection was decent.

These little biscuits were great! Very nice young lady at the register who graciously answered my every question. She was very informative and a huge help in ordering. The shortcake biscuit with blackberry jam was my fav of the three. The cheddar and chive with bacon would be my second fav. However all were delicious. Will definitely be back! A gem of a place!

So glad we stopped to try these biscuits! They were light and fluffy and full of flavor. Be sure to stop if you can!
