I was craving for sea food today with a low budget, and I remember I haven’t visit Captain D’s in North Charleston for a while, I ask my husband to quickly make a stop over. As usual, Captain D’s never disappoints! The food was fresh and flavorful the fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I also enjoyed the hush puppies and coleslaw; everything was served hot and fast. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was correct. Great spot if you’re craving seafood without breaking the bank. I’ll definitely be come back always.

They are disgusting I will never eat from here again ordered uber eats 02/26/25 around 7pm and they gave me cold fries along with fish that was more breading than fish the fish did not look like how it should look threw both plates in the trash the entire plate after spending almost 30$ it’s just ridiculous I will never eat from another captain ds that did it for me for sure this location needs to be CLOSED DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!

**12-1-24** If I could give my experience a negative zero I would. Pulled to the drive-thru wasn't greeted (No big deal) then was told to pull to the window. When I got to the window it was 2 cars ahead of me no problem I waited 25-30 minutes finally got to the drive thru only to be told "we're only accepting cash" I asked why wasn't I told that at the drive-thru she shrugged her shoulders and begin to close the window I waited for 30 minutes for no reason I called the manager to inform her they should probably tell customers at drive-thru they are only accepting cash the manager was just as worst as the employee SMH not looking for 5 star service however common courtesy and respect for your customer's time is appreciated... DO BETTER OR CLOSE DOWN!
Nice place to sit and eat some good fish. I love the crispy pieces and the batter. Prices are decent for the meal. Would suggest this place for a quick bite to eat some fish.
