This was was my 4th time in here over a few months. The staff generally seems too busy or uninterested to help, serve your food and drinks or bring your check. It's decent food and pretty good beers. Sunday surprised me though, my wife and I ordered a couple beers (pints) each, local IPAs and when the check finally arrived (I had to ask another person walking around to ask our waitress for it) it was almost $70. This is a small airport without many options. 4 Beers with a tip for $80.00 NEVER AGAIN...not for that service, in that small, crowded, less than average airport bar. I've had many local beers in many other airports for less so it's not unreasonable to think this is way overpriced.

I had drinks, but no food here, thankfully, because it seems as though everyone was dissatisfied with their food.
I wanted to write a review to highlight the outrageous price of drinks.
$16.00 plus tax and tip for a draft beer. I think wine was around $20 a glass, for nothing special.

I guess knowing that customers are just passing through makes it ok for poor customer service and rude servers.

No menu prices on drinks. Asked for a house red wine. The bill was $22. I’m use to airport prices but that is ridiculous. Guy next to me asked for a bottle of water from the display to be added to his bill He grabbed a Dansai she charged him for the gourmet water. When he called her on it she said it’s only a dollar difference. Not a happy customer.

Recommendations: It said it opened at 11 am but we were here at 930 and they were open. So check this before you decide not to go here. Also, the breakfast burrito and coffee was good. Chorizo was kind of spicy, but I think water is spicy so take that as you will. Lastly, if the place is full, just get to go orders and eat them by your gate.

Food: the breakfast burrito was good and it came with salsa.

Service: There was an amazing woman working. I did not catch her name. She was all smiles, joking and singing with the music. She greeted everyone and took chucked non-adult drinks out fast. Took our order right away. The space is kind of small but she was taking care of everyone all at once. Not stressed, sweet, kind, and she was working hard. I wish I had service like her at every place I visited. Great person.

Building: The place is within the airport. It’s kind of small and can fill up fast. They offer to-go orders as well.

Bathrooms: no bathrooms but bathrooms for the airport are right next to it. Wasn’t an issue for us.

Parking: Airport parking.

Notes: Do not judge the place by my broken iPhone photos, please.

Hit the thumbs up and give me a follow. I’m trying to be relevant or something. It’s my only bragging rights.

Vegetarian options: Check the menu.

Dietary restrictions: Check the menu. Someone below mention an allergy. I cannot attest to that.

Food was average for an airport. The stack sandwich was good but served with ruffles chips for $17. Broccoli and cheddar was out of a can for $7. Not bad, just about average.

1. The employees were busy joking around and wouldn't serve ANY customers until they were finished. That was over 5 minutes for me, and I was first in line.

2. The promise you can take your to-go drink on the flight. That is not true. The flight attendant took it from me and said they get it all the time.

I told the waiter about a food allergy I have. She did not care. When I asked if she could ask/ make the cook aware, she was reluctant to do that. The place was not busy at all. Open tables the whole 15 minutes we were there. So, instead, I went to the convenient store next door and spent $17 on a bag of chips and a soda. The people I was with said the food was good but can’t attest to it.

I went here with my cousin while visiting Charleston for the first time. We could not have picked a better place to eat. HIGHLY recommend the dumpwings and the pretzel appetizer as well as the Bubba burger. Incredible amazing food coupled with amazing service. Made us feel right at home. If I visit charleston again, I will be coming back.

This is the second time I’ve been here in little over a month. Incredibly understaffed, although on both occasions the staff tried to keep up. Jessie was there by herself the other day, doing everything while remaining calm, competent & polite.

Sat for 17 minutes without even a hello. Went to Commonhouse. Perfect service there. Will never recommend Beer Works to anyone.

Sat down for food but wasn’t able to be seen or served for 25 min so we had to call it at that point and leave :(

This place at the airport has horrible service (not waitstaff fault - setup the fail). Not one beer available on tap. Food is cafeteria. Asked for boneless wings and they were breaded. Never had a breaded wing before. Should probably disclose that on the menu - should name it chicken tenders ! Prices are way over priced! $13.50 for a beer and almost $10 for a G&T. $42 for wings and 2 drinks! Will not be back !
