Chef Racks Garlic Crabs

Ordered shrimp & oyster basket. Shrimp was large, tasted like bag shrimp. Oyster was definitely bag oysters. Food was made fresh to order & customer service was good, but would not return as I like fresh seafood. Also was pricey- over $30.

I went to Savannah GA with my sister due to the passing of one of her friends. I am the passenger enjoying the ride. My sister Medinah visited this restaurant last year and has been telling me about it since. So my first time visiting was on 10/18/2025.The food is delicious seafood cooked to order so be patient with the chef! I got the fried crab rice with fried whiting fish and shrimp plate.I also got a remoulade sauce that I shared with my sister that I added to my rice it's not needed but it adds more flavor and is bussing! My sister got a garlic crab clusters with garlic shrimp corn and potato plate. She gave me a garlic shrimp which is delicious! We also tried the pineapple lemonade which is delicious! They are closed on Sunday and Monday check the schedule. This restaurant is top tier creme de la creme! Check them out pull up and support.

Today was my first visit to Chef Racks after many months of rave reviews from my friend and it is exceptional. I ordered the garlic shrimp that included 12 very large shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, and an egg that were covered in the special garlic sauce. Truthfully, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. So much so that I continued to just eat the sauce once the food was gone. My only regret is that I forgot to take a picture. I will be back for more shrimp and the crab soon. Highly recommend!

Tried it out for the first time and definitely worth all the hype. We got the blue crabs box and crab legs box. Under 100 cant beat that. Will definitely be back for more items !

The food was the best seafood I've had in my life. The garlic sauce was immaculate! The price was very reasonable. They don't have a lot of seating but we did get seats at the counter. Most people were getting their food to go so it was over crowded. We will definitely visit again.

Well I can't say enough great things about this place. Chef Jamal did an excellent job on our garlic crab and shrimp. The sauce on his seafood is top tier and I haven't had any seafood this great in a very long time. Whenever you are in the Charleston area visit Chef Rack's I promise you won't be disappointed.

The Jumbo Shrimp w/ Crab Rice 10/10 & This restaurant is on Door Dash which makes it 10x more convenient. My food is always fresh and the portion of food you get is well worth the price. Highly Recommend 🤏🏾

We try to eat here weekly. The garlic shrimp and crab is addictive. The shrimp are HUGE and the crab legs never disappoint. The sauce is the best I’ve had anywhere. There is limited seating but the take out is constantly flowing when we visit. It’s a sad week when we can’t get over to see the chef!

Been in Charleston all week for work and wanted to find a local gem. Well, we definitely did! If you didn’t know it was there, you probably wouldn’t find it. It’s at the end of an old strip mall and not much to look at but the food is well worth it. The best meal we’ve had all week and maybe the last 2 including the restaurants in Savannah! I got the catfish and shrimp combo and it was amazing. 8 shrimp and a huge piece of catfish, lightly breaded and fried perfectly! I will definitely be returning here when I’m back in town. My compliments to Chef Racks!
