Food was good and portions were perfect. Worker making the food was mumbling under her breath with an attitude towards the customers in line before me (saying she “already asked them this” when they could not speak much English). Every table and bench/seat in this restaurant had dirt and food all over it while the floors were covered in food and trash. Trashcan beside the register was overflowing onto the floor. I gave them some slack in my mind because it was a little busy at the time, but once it died down no one was keeping up with the cleaning. Makes you worry about the quality and cleanliness of the food.

Just did another walk through to see.
This place is still disgustingly unclean and unkept. The food/meat splatter on the tile above the grill has been there forever.
The service and attitude matches the health hazards in the restaurant. From my visual this place is consistently in violation of every health code.
There was not one person in line and one person waiting on a pick up. More than 5 employees there, no excuse…
Use to like Chipotle. Charleston locations make me never want to eat Chipotle again.
Few Pics attached. It’s worse than this

If you are open you need to serve customers that show up not online only!! Many of us who work hard want food and don’t need to use only the online app

I decided to pick up some food from this location as it is on my commute home from work. I got there just after ten o'clock and the doors were all locked and the employees inside were mopping and cleaning. I'm just trying to understand why the posted signs and the online information says close at eleven but they are completely shut down an hour early and no one even bothered to at least come to the door and explain or at the very least gesture that they are closed instead of blatantly ignoring a customer that show up for service during normal business hours. Beware, if you want to remain a fan of Chipotle avoid this location. This staff will ruin it.

If your website and poster on the door say you close at 11pm I dont want the door locked 40 minutes early
I paid $14.50 for a chicken bowl with guac, and the portions were surprisingly small. The manager made my food after finishing training someone on grill while other crew members just stood around talking. The manager and cashier were the only ones who gave smile . For the price, the experience and serving size were disappointing.

Really poor experience at this location. 25 min wait for order. Two employees on their phones on the front line.
I wish I could give this restaurant a 0 star. This is the 3rd incident far months apart. And this comment is coming after I chatted with someone on the online chat. The restaurant was fully staffed around 1:40pm and also had a lot of customers already seated and eating I was 3rd in line. When it came to my turn to order I saw the chicken was out because I saw the last few pieces go in the bowl before mine. As I asked for a salad bowl, I asked the server if there was more chicken being prepared she said yes, I said I'd wait. She totally ignored me and continued to ask what rice and beans, and serve me crumbs YES CRUMBS from the bottom of the barrell, I ignore thinking I would be getting the serving when the chicken was finished, and passed my bowl to the next server and poured the mild salce and all others. My next bowl was a rice, beans, steak, carne asada, I told extra, not half and half. I was poured half and half which was literally 3 pieces of steak witch are close to pea size. And 4 pieces of carne asada. Went to check out, $30 NO drinks or NO Chips or NO Queso or NO guac. I paid and waited near the takeout shelf for the chicken to be grilled and poured to serve. I got back in line and asked the same lady for the serving portion of the chicken. This lady told me I had to pay for extra chicken as she pointed to the cashier, telling me i had to pay before getting my chicken. Pay extra for something I had already paid for and didnt get. I go to the cashier and tell the cashier I shouldnt be paying for something i never received, I opened my bowl in front of them and some other employee just said you get 1 scoop of chicken, I said i was served Crumbs. They insisted if i wanted more chicken Id have to pay. I closed my bowl and left in disbelief of what I just went through. That was the most humiliating scene I have ever been put through or witnessed. The employees are deplorable and has 0 manners or courtesy. AT $30 for 2 clean bowls no drinks is insane. I get back to my office and begin a chat on the portal. The robot asks the store, time and all these questions. Finally someone comes to chat, after explaining what happened the rep simply says its very unfortunate but they cannot refund or do anything after someone is not satisfied with the servings. I AM SHOCKED with this response. Ive been a regular at another store since they opened 3 years ago, never had an issue. This store needs to be re-managed and /or closed.

The evening staff on Wednesday 11/12/25 (5:25pm) has the worst customer service. No greeting, no sense of customer courtesy and the portions were so much smaller than usual (daytime) because they clearly didn’t want to put more meat on the filthy dirty grill. Total disappointment. I don’t know who the manager off this location is but they clearly need training and around the clock supervision at this location.

Went here with the family…mistake. Hounded by a homeless person for money as I got out of the car. Dining area looked like it had not been cleaned that day. Workers had been careless with making the orders as there was sour cream and guacamole drizzled in the cheese, pico, and lettuce bins. Usually Chipotle is consistent across all of their locations. May not return to this location.

Extremely disappointing experience. The staff flat-out refused to take my order in person, insisting I use the app. After I paid online, they stopped making any more orders and pulled all the food, even though they still had over an hour left before closing. When I asked about a refund, the manager said it could only be done through the app. The app support then denied the refund and closed the chat, forcing me to spend nearly 20 minutes on the phone just to get my money back after waiting 30 to be denied my order. This location has zero accountability or respect for customers. I’ll never be back.
