It was freezing in there, the ceiling fans were running full speed and the staff said they had no control over either, that it was just as cold in the kitchen. Food and service met our expectation. Cook Out's our favorite fast food so we stopped in while traveling but we had to eat our delicous grilled chicken in the car. Fix the heat!

they rush you at drive thru, they don’t even listen and put the whole order down.. we wanted the 2 of the $7.99 meals with one main and two sides and a drink but only got 2 burgers, one fries, one side and a shake… and it was $22 for that

I almost always have a positive experience with the food at cookout. Occasionally, I might be slightly disappointed in the amount of fries or the amount of cheese bites, but I’m sure there’s a method to how they add portions and I’m always satisfied. The only reason for dinging them would be that I often feel the pressure of being rushed. It’s always very challenging for me to hear at their drive-up speaker. I would say nearly most every time, the person on the other side of the speaker speaks very quickly, and I think they’re usually trying to do too many things at one time like hand food out the window while taking your order at the same time because they often ask you to repeat yourself. So that’s a little frustrating but even with that I still give Cook out positive reviews for my experience. I wish they would see this message and maybe train their folks a little better to slow down, speak clearly, and don’t make your customer feel pressured or rushed. We all know that fast food is fast food for a reason but clear communication is super important.

Hear me out; I don’t do reviews and my username is absolutely atrocious, but this review is serious. I went through the drive through with my mother, and the line was all backed up but they dealt with it super quickly. They got our order done in like three minutes and it was amazing. The lady at the drive thru was also super polite and quick with her questions, definitely would’ve tipped if we had the finances! Huge thanks to Kanashia; she was the wonderful and sweet lady that took our order! 😁✌️

She hates her job, was rushing us, had major attitude, abandoned our order mid order as we were talking, literally just never responded and heard her start taking the next lanes order, didn’t get our order right and when I asked her if she heard Cajun fries instead of regular fries, she said “your total is $21.79” ….guess what kind of fries we got after waiting at the window for 19 minutes? Not Cajun.

Worst fast food experience I’ve had in a very long time. This location basically ignores guests in the lobby and focuses only on drive thru customers. Ordered two cookout trays, literally waited for 30 minutes and finally asked the staff what was going on. The worker responded saying “I thought I gave you your food.” We hadn’t even gotten drinks at this point. Almost 10 minutes later and we finally got our food, just for one of the trays to be incorrect. A few minutes later I finally got the right food. Simple trip to cookout to grab a quick bite turned into over hour. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this location.

My daughter and I stopped at this Cook Out in Charleston, South Carolina, after a wonderful Creed concert at the Credit One stadium. I ordered a cheddar burger with no bacon.And she ordered a cheddar burger with no bun. First, they messed up because they gave her hers in a bun; so, we waited for them to remake it. When we got to our hotel, my cheddar burger had bacon and no onions, and hers had onions and no bacon. I pulled the. Bacon off of my burger, and most of the cheddar cheese sauce came off with it. So, I ended up with just a regular hamburger, basically. The best part of the cheddar burger to me is the grilled onions and cheese sauce; so, I was really disappointed.

Very spacey employees forgot half of our order and cleared it out before they even completed it. Then went back and ordered milkshakes for the family and instead of taking the order slip with him or looking at the screen he got an attitude with me that he forgot and yelled at me for the order again

We like to go here after visiting Wannamaker. The food is always hot and freshly cooked. They also have great prices.
Today our cashier, Rakel, was patient and kind to us as my kids took turns trying to order their food. When we needed refills or had questions, the ladies behind the counter were quick to make eye contact and ask how they could help.
