Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We came to this location when visiting North Charleston SC. We had a young waitress who had several tables and she did a very good job checking in on us to see if we needed anything while we waited. My husband had the Blueberry Pancake platter with scrambled eggs and bacon. Wow, what a great selection and I had the Chicken and Dumpling soup which was very good. We also had the Onion Petals which was a perk for us since we are in the rewards program. I tipped more than normal because we were happy with the service and she was very polite.

My experience here was not good to say the least. Place an order online. Arrived 30 minutes later, food was not ready. Waited another 30 minutes, finally received my food and it was cold ! I had a cheeseburger & fries. Very disappointed in the inconsistency.

Orded Louisiana-Style Shrimp Skillet menu and waitress didn't mention to pick two sides. Came out with overcooked season rice only and had to ask for the parm bread. Didn't have green onion topping. What I get for ordering limited time item from staff that didnt know the menu I guess.

Love this place, but this day the food service was extremely slow. My shrimp and grits came out watery, so that was disappointing after waiting so long for it. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen.

After a tiring day, I wanted to treat myself, despite a limited budget I treated myself by going to the restaurant because I knew exactly what I wanted, and it was at Cracker Barrel that I was going to find it. I placed my order, my dish arrived, I received nothing of what I ordered. I asked he told me that he put rice instead except that the rice was part of the dish. He then brought me the bill and the two sides that I ordered but did not receive, I was charged. You will tell me to ask to remove them that is what I did, except that it was impossible. I must have paid for something that I did not receive. It made me sincerely sad. It is the first time in my life that I do not leave tips, yet when I entered the restaurant, I already had in mind to give at least 20%.

I liked it a lot, but my 6 year old didn't seem to like it too much. I think it may have been that all the gift shop (toys) are the first thing you see when you walk in, so all she could think about was toys.

Same consistency for this Cracker Barrel. Friendly staff and fast service. The food was descent and sufficient for diner. The place was warm and welcoming. Conveniently located near hotels.

I don't think I've ever had a longer wait for service or food! Over an hour, then it wasn't as good as it has been.

I can't recommend the North Charleston location. They are under staffed so service was poor and they left tables loaded with dirty dishes for the whole time we were there. Food was average.

Small shop upon entering with lots of original decorative items, clothing or gifts. It's really nice and not expensive. Regarding the menu, large selection for all tastes, good portions, and above all, extremely affordable prices. It's cheaper than cooking at home!
