Best catering company! They catered both my sons, rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Their prices are reasonable, their service excellent, and the food absolutely delicious. I can't think of a negative thing to say. From the beginning of the process of selecting a menu to the final day of my son's wedding, they were helpful, professional, kind, and accommodating. Crazy Dutchman was a terrific caterer for our wedding at magnolia plantation. They executed on everything they said they would do and the food was terrific! The bar staff ran the event well and there was virtually no wait time. They also effectively projected our food amount so we didn't run short. They were very communicative in the planning process and responsive. The mash potato bar was amazing!

The Crazy Dutchman catered our neighborhood Oyster Roast (150 guests) and last night it could not have been better. The oysters were clean and delicious, The BBQ pork was some of the best I have ever had. The crew was incredible (shout out to Lisa) and took care of every detail. I was actually able to enjoy the party instead of running around. I highly recommend The Crazy Dutchman!

The whole team at Crazy Dutchman were great to work with from the very beginning all the way to the end. What a great team and service they provided. The low country boil was excellent and everyone loved it all!! I would highly recommend Crazy Dutchman Catering if your hosting an event in Charleston their is no one better!!

We recently used Crazy Dutchman Catering for food and bar services for our wedding and we cannot say enough great things about the staff, food, drinks & service! We chose to do the stations option for dinner that consisted of shrimp & grits with salad, BBQ chicken skewers with pimento mac & cheese, & pork tenderloin with a mashed potato bar. Each station was delicious and I got so many compliments on the food throughout the wedding night! They made us plates from each station and had it brought to our sweetheart table during the reception. They even packed us up huge portions of what was left and sent them home with our family for us to get the next day! Working with the Crazy Dutchman staff was amazing! They made everything flow seamlessly. They were quick to respond to any emails or questions that I had during the planning process and were able to make any changes that I may have needed. The bar service was great too! The team helped me decide the right size and amount of bars to have to accommodate the size of our wedding. We are so happy that we chose Crazy Dutchman Catering for our wedding and are so thankful for their awesome team!!

Crazy Dutchman Catering was fabulous for my daughter's wedding of around 150 people. When I first called them, Hans the owner, offered great advice and things to think about that I truly needed to know since this was my first daughter to get married. I had questions throughout the planning of the wedding, and he was very helpful. The catering and the bar at the wedding was fabulous. The food, service, bar etc was amazing and we had tons and tons of compliments from our guests. I give them my highest recommendation!!

I reached out a couple months ago and am still very bothered by my interaction with Crazy Dutchman. My wedding is next March and I was doing the initial catering calls to get a feel for pricing and options. From the start he was very short and brisk with me. When budget was brought up and I expressed the initial budget we'd like to stay within he immediately told me that was impossible. With the price of food so increased surely I understood that no one could possibly stay in that budget. Additionally he continued to tell me that "the only way you'll stick to that budget is if you go to McDonald's drive thru and get everyone a big mac." A simple I'm sorry our packages start at X and do not go lower would have been more than enough. I've since spoken to other catering companies who have as good if not better reviews that are well with in our $1500 budget. So thanks for making my first wedding planning call one of the worst.
