I went here for a meet and greet and it was such a pretty spot with lots of seating and really nice views. I only talked to the bartender but he was really friendly! I ordered the Bianca pizza not long after I got there and after a while I asked about it, he was genuine and apologized, mentioned they had some newer staff working that night, and made sure it was taken care of. I didn’t really mind since I was having a good time socializing. The pizza was really good when it came...
Perfect relaxation spot. Awesome outside seating with great views of the marsh and river. The smells of the nature here can’t be beat. I tried the cider. Extremely refreshing. The building itself is charming and the staff is very friendly. Well worth the drive off the beaten path.
We hosted a pre-wedding party at Freehouse for about 90 guests. From our early communication to figure out menu, the owner and staff could not have been more accommodating & pleasant. The space (indoor and outdoor) is ample, the organic beer / beverages and the food are all fantastic. The lone man in the kitchen cranked out 30 pizzas and many apps (those garlic knots!!) in perfect cadence. This place is a credit to Charleston’s craft brewery scene.
