The food there was delicious and so was the service and the atmosphere and it was wonderful. It’s just that it’s 25 minutes away and I am not a young chick anymore and it’s been a while since I’ve been to the restaurant and my friend went there the other day for a birthday‼️ Genaros is an authentic Italian restaurant and to me that is the best‼️ I sure wish they would open up a restaurant in Goose Creek! it is filled with Mexican restaurants and really needs a good Italian restaurant for all of us Crowfield plantation residences that would enjoy fine food‼️ I speak the truth‼️?

Last night, my wife Tammi and I decided to try Gennaro’s for the first time, celebrating my birthday, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special evening.

The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the night. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious-sounding dishes, and when the food arrived, it exceeded our expectations. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the presentation was as thoughtful as the service.

We truly appreciated how Gennaro’s made the occasion feel special. The combination of the food, service, and ambiance created a memorable dining experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wonderful night out!

We are there for the first time last night for hubbys birthday. I had the shrimp orecchiette and he had the seafood fettuccine. We had bread and garlic dipping and calamari first and it was delicious. The salads that came out before our main meal was awesome. We had a calzone to go as we were stuffed. We did have a bottle of the Gennaro’s Chardonnay which was buttery and delicious as well. Everything was top notch. Our server was great but I can’t recall her name.
We will definitely be back!!

We waited about 30 minutes for a table, but we didn't have a reservation. So not a big deal. Once we were seated, drinks and bread came out quickly. Salads and meal were also put fairly quickly. Delicious Eggplant a la Michael and balsamic vinaigrette. Service was fun and very nice.

We seen this restaurant and decided to try it. They are only open Wednesday through Sunday, 4pm till 9pm. Excellent food and service. I suggest you call and make reservations because they are always busy.

Kid-friendliness: The entire restaurant is family friendly and so kind.

Ordered chicken Marsala this evening- chicken was very moist- but no Marsala taste at all. Bread as always with garlic oil was delicious- ate my spaghetti when I got home ? big smooth delicious!!!
Johnny was our waiter… greatest!!
Husband had fried oysters… on the small side, but it’s not oyster season yet and he said they were good! Chicken parmigiana was very filling and ? tasty- he might eat it tomorrow if I don’t taste test it first! lol
We were seated in a busy part of the restaurant this time- I like the little cozy nooks.

The best Italian food I have had in South Carolina.

The only reason I didn't post all 5 stars is because no one is perfect. The food was delicious and it was a quiet atmosphere with no screaming children. We needed a break from our grandkids that live with us, lol.
