Went to both H and L seafood store and H and L Kitchen across the street and was impressed by both. The store, though quite small has a huge selection of fish, shrimp and all kind of seafood, both fresh, frozen or in tanks! We then went to the kitchen. My wife had a soft shell crab sandwich with Cole slaw and I had the flounder burrito with French fries. Everything was excellent with plenty of fish and piping hot! It was my first time to H&L and I will be a repeat customer. I recommend both without reservation.

We just saw this take out spot as we were leaving the H&L Seafood store (very good selection) We decided to try it out. I got a soft shell crab sandwich that was both soft and crunchy and had good crab flavor. Not a huge sandwich but just right for me. I chose the Cole slaw side and it is one of the best I have ever had! Very crunchy and not too sweet or salty snd not oozing sauce. Just right and I ate every bite of it! My husband got the flounder burrito- he-man size and great fish flavor. He wanted a little more head and a generous amount was offered right up so he could add as much as he wanted. The fries were ok, too. We’ll come back!

Ordered fried crabs today. Sat down after work to eat them and the meat was mushy like mashed potatoes . So obviously they fried up some dead crabs. I've NEVER EVER HAD FRIED CRABS AS AWFUL AS THIS. Leason learned?. Next time I'll check my food as soon as it's done. Definitely not wasting my money again.

DO NOT BUY CRABS FOR THIS VOCATION! I’ve been coming here 3times a week since they OPEN! I brought a bushel of crabs and half a dozen was dead! The rest were under weight. So I paid d for shells. Went back to get the crabs replaced and SHOWING VIDEO of dead ones received. And I had to go through THE MOST over a few dead crabs that were given to me when I paid MY Money. Never shopping here again

I never had problematic here, but tonight, i paid for half a dozen male crAbs...i got 5 crabs.. not going back for 1 crab..paid for..just wanted you to know loyal customer since y'all have been open. Take care of this.. gonna continue to shop, but this is unsatisfactory

Purchased shark steak from H & L seafood & when I got home to fry them & ate some of it they had a strong smell of AMMONIA! Called & they said bring it back. Rude store manager (Mexican girl) opened the ziploc bag & says. “Smells good to me” & starts speaking Spanish. I told her I knew y’all would say this & broke open one of the steaks & let the customers smell it. THEY ALL AGREED that it was STANK as hell! Then she proceeded to speak Spanish talking about the situation NOT knowing, I’m SERVSAFE certified & could tell that the seafood was no longer edible or was left out. Disgusting people who know NOTHING about seafood.. find a different occupation ASAP!

This is ridiculous!! I can show a video or pictures . I bought a bushel of local clusters yesterday and 8 of 10 were full of mud, don't even think they were local. Waste of $62.00!!!
