Kiki's Chicken and Waffles

I throughly enjoyed my experience and brunch at KiKi’s North Charleston . Our waitress was Tameka, she was amazing!!🤩She was knowledgeable of the menu and pairing options. She knew that menu back and back! Very impressive! 🙌🏾
She was patient and personable. I highly recommend! Come experience for yourself !! You will not be disappointed! 😍

Overall, everything was delicious here! We were hesitant due to the recent reviews. However, we are glad we did. The restaurant is located in North Charleston. Definitely, get the fried chicken, red velvet cake waffle (I've tasted nothing like it), and the shrimp and grits. The smaller portion is enough, and the sausage is slightly spicy. Very delicious.

The atmosphere was enjoyable. There was a lot of space and room at the tables and around the restaurant. I wish there was more than one bathroom stall.

The only four star I would give it to the service . We had a rather large table. I wish they would have been more attentive to refilling the drinks at the table. The waiter and waitresses were pleasant, though.

I'll come back every time I'm in Charleston.

I stopped in about an hour before closing on Sunday, 11/24, to meet my friend. Staff were friendly, which I appreciated since I had to wait a while. My friend ordered the pecan waffle and chicken wings. She really enjoyed her meal. I had the fried apple pie without ice cream. I really enjoyed my selection as I needed something sweet to end the day. I ate dimner before we planned the meeting location.

The next time I come home to North Charleston, I will be ready to chow down on the food.

Service was horrible it took 30 minutes before came to take my order
Appetizer was very dry it took another 30-40 for my main dish to come out and my chicken wings were raw we just got up and left maybe they need more workers and a better cook

I had the steak, eggs, and hash browns at KiKi Chicken and Waffles, and it was delicious! The steak was tender, and the hash browns were crispy. My friend had the waffles and chicken and her food was also tasty and cooked well.

Unfortunately, the service was not very attentive or friendly, which took away from the overall experience. The food was great, but the service could use some improvement.

I have eaten at Kiki's Chicken and Waffles in Columbia for years. I was excited t hat we would have one in Charleston (SC). I know there has been all kinds of mixed reviews and everyone is entitled to their opinions from their experiences, but my families first experience on Saturday was absolutely amazing! Asia was amazing as the employee that made sure we had everything that we needed. She was not a waitress or server, but above and beyond and so many ways. She should train ALL employees! The wait time was fair, but the restaurant was busy, plus we had time and came in after a community service event so we were fine. The food was great! We had chicken, waffles, pork chop, French toast, shrimp and grits, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, fries...and everything was delicious. I took the time to speak to the manager (you shouldn't only seek a manager when something goes wrong) to let him know how great our service was as well as the food. Many complain that there are no soul food restaurants in Charleston, no place to go, etc....yet when entrepreneurs come here all some do is complain and instead of working to make it better make folks not want to be in business here. We are the community, yes, I demand great service also...but we have to be in this together. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Dr. Fleming

I live 4 miles away from restaurant. Old hard chicken and burnt French toast with missing powdered sugar. Cook to order? I think not. Atleast sprinkle the powder sugar all over to cover up mistakes! Smh. Unacceptable food and a waste of hardworking money!
