Kiki's Chicken and Waffles

In town visiting from Louisiana and searched for something Soul Food and this was recommended. This was the best fried chicken wings I’ve had since leaving home! Shoutout to the kitchen. Everything was hot and fresh. Great atmosphere and a great staff! I’m already planning my return.

Today I went to Kiki's for the second time ever. The first time, a few months back, I had the signature chicken and waffles.
This time I had the seafood platter (fried whiting, fried shrimp and french fries). I was standing at the counter to order for less than 15 seconds when Ceairah kindly acknowledged me and told me she'd be with me in a moment as she walked by on her way to the kitchen from the dining room. It took a while before someone else came to the counter, and a while longer before someone else actually took my order. My meal was prepared quickly... but it all comes back to Ceairah, her simple, immediate, friendly acknowledgement is what Customer Service is missing in the Hospitality industry.
If you dine -in, ask for Ceairah.

Only one person really saved this from being a zero is the waiter(African American with glasses) He wasn’t even helping me. He recognized that I have been in several times. Just nice conversation passing by. I got home and I was so disappointed. The chicken had feathers and yellow fat on it(means not properly clean) No seasoning at all just batter. Waffle was soggy due to transport but no powder sugar. Needless to say I could have saved a trip!! Wasn’t a good Chicken and Waffle day!

I was the only person in the restaurant, got my food Togo, took like 25 minutes for a chicken and waffle but it was ice cold when I took a bite in the car 2 minutes later. Very disappointing but the waitress was nice, very sweet and informed.

First visit Sunday 9/28/2025, food was incredible especially considering the lower prices compared to many places. The portions were generous and everything that came out to other tables also looked great. Service was perfect and attentive, atmosphere welcoming for after church families on Sunday. They've definitely figured out what works and are honing the product they deliver each day, looking forward to going back.

The service was great. The food wasn’t all that. Grits were a lil cold and hard. French Toast was not good. Shrimp n Grits wasn’t that great either, too much sauce with cold hard grits.

It was our first visit to the North Charleston location and it did not disappoint. Try the sweet potato waffle fries and thank me later. I had the smothered chicken and it was the ultimate comfort food. Delicious meal with generous portions. The staff could not have been any kinder. We will definitely go back.

Customer service is not good here some of the food isn't good either they don't care how they serve they gave me jerky dry bbq chicken waaay unacceptable

This is my first time at Kiki's Chicken and Waffles and I am so impressed with the staff as well as the amazing food. Our server, Riley, was great and accommodating . The service exceeded my expectations. I give them 15 stars 🌟 and will definitely come again and tell all my friends about this fantastic restaurant. Another plus is you get 10% off on Sunday's when you bring your church program. How classy is that!!
