Food was good. Very quick. Could have been warmer. The spare rib (or was it short rib) was tasty as was the Dan Dan sauce. I enjoyed my cocktail and the bartender was very nice. 8 minute walk from the Starlight Motor Inn. And apparently they have some specials together.

I'm sure what the hype is about. Food is definitely good, but the price is questionable

Great atmosphere with wonderful music playing, and an attentive staff. When you arrive, you stand in line for your food, you take a number and you take a seat.

American portions with Asian food flare. They give you side mustard and hoisin sauce, but you need neither the food is exceptionally flavorful with complex variety. We tried both the pork and poultry combo plates along with multiple sides.

Not in the best or safest neighborhood, but they had a dedicated, well lit and paved parking lot.

Very unique and wonderful place to spend an evening. Really enjoyed the Chinatown Delight with the crispy Brussels, spicy Dan Dan noodles, and Sichuan collards. The food was amazing and the pitcher of Return of the Mack margarita was fantastic. The restaurant was located in a rather sketchy area but still safe enough for the whole family. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best and thoughtful BBQ and sides I have had.
For four, get the big platter.
“Golden Hours 3-6 daily. Yes.
Weekends too.
You won’t be disappointed.

The reviews are a lie. Food was old, noodles stiff as a board. Definitely a no for me!

Went here because it was recommended to me by some friends, and the pictures looked good. However, what I got served was pretty disappointing. The noodles tasted (or lack thereof) like the college dining hall type, and the pulled pork was missing a punch in the flavor. I’d spend money at Lewis bbq instead.

So good but so much food. Pork spare ribs and the duck were the stars

The duck and the chicken were really what I was expecting when coming to this place.
It reminded me of what I'm used to from Paris Chinatown.
However, I didn't like the Dan Dan noodles but that might be just personal preference since I'm not so so familiar with them.

King BBQ has the best smoked / spiced duck I’ve ever had. In fact, the best duck in any preparation. Ambience and vibes are stellar too.

King BBQ was absolutely the best meal I’ve had in Charleston and it’s an amazing value.

Great vibes, great staff, delicious drinks, and stunning Chinese inspired Southern BBQ. The duck was absolutely incredible and the 5-spice chicken was the most succulent, tender chicken I’ve ever had. Sides were the perfect accompaniment to a delicious meal.

Will 100% be back for more!

My wife and I loveKing BBQ and Jackrabbit Filly. It’s so different from any other BBQ place you’ve ever been and it’s so flippin delicious. The food is always delicious and today they accommodated a request that was not on the menu. In my opinion, King BBQ is so underrated. This is the kind of meal you wish for that really hits. Like coming home.

The atmosphere is fantastic, think NYC Chinatown BBQ spot and southern counter style BBQ restaurant had a baby.

The rangoon dip appetizer was great, and there’s a small (but varied) selection of beers and cocktails. We each tried the noodle dish, which we found to be a great value for the portion.

We sat at the bar for full service dinner on a Thursday night, we walked in without a wait. There’s plenty of parking in their lot as well.

If you’re looking for traditional southern BBQ, this isn’t it, but it still hits all the high notes. Excited to go back and try the duck service 🙂
