@carolinapaverandturf had our team for a Gratitude Lunch for Christmas. They handled 30 people like pros. Food was delicious. Service was tops.

If you’re looking for anything close to authentic Mexican food do not order from here. I’m just highly disappointed in the outcome of this food. There’s major lack of flavor, if you order anything beef it’s ground beef not the real beef that you would imagine, and all the entrees are just soggy and not what you would expect at all.

My boyfriend and went on a date night and decide we wanted Mexican food . The restaurant was pretty empty when arriving . They serve us chips and dips . After eating 2 chips my boyfriend notice it was something in the chips came to find out it was a massive huge bug laying inside the chips . We told the waitress and she came and grab the bowl and didn’t say anything like it was a normal thing . To this day my boyfriend and I are traumatized by this .

The food lacked flavor. I ordered Salmon and they served me Tilapia saying it was salmon.

I'm amazed. A Mexican lunch buffet! And very fresh, very tasty and lots of choices. I'm going back for sure. We went back and it was even better, the chili verde and the steak tacos are so fresh and tasty. Any Mexican food has a high bar to meet for me, since I grew up smelling and eating refried frijoles and fresh tortillas in the mornings all over Los Angeles and San Diego areas and these guys are very close to that quality. I pray they keep the bar high.

My favorite place for tacos when I’m in town. Im obsessed with the chorizo tacos which comes with a bag chips and fresh salsa, and side of rice and beans. The side of hot sauce for the tacos is perfectly spicy.

Stopped in for the first time for a Friday lunch. The service was good. The chips and salsa were awesome and the food overall was very delicious. Cute restaurant inside.

The buffet is OK, but for a vegetarian too many meat dishes. I wish they would consider putting some vegetarian dishes out there. And I wish they would not put pork lard in their beans because I really love refried beans

Food was good but what caught my attention is how terrible the place look. It seemed great outside but the women’s bathroom, only one stall could be used because the handicap one did not have a lock. There was a huge puddle on the floor with the wet floor sign making it a little hard to move around. We had to move to another table because the AC vents had condensation and water was dripping on the table. The ceiling tiles need some love. That said… at least food was good but the place inside is not appealing at all like it seems on their advertisements.

Remolded, nice. They had a lunch buffet, but we just ordered from the menu. The food was good, service too.

As a fellow business owner, I truly hate leaving a negative review, but after two failed attempts to have this issue resolved—and no way to contact anyone directly—I feel I have no choice.

I came in around 7pm after a long day and ordered a Pizzabirria with no onions, as I have an allergy. I got home, showered, and settled in to eat a couple hours later—only to find it loaded with onions.

I called and returned to get it corrected, but what I received the second time was extremely disappointing. The replacement meal looked nothing like the original—it was sloppy, undercooked, and poorly assembled. It felt rushed, careless, and not something that should have been served to any customer, especially not after a mistake.

The server did offer to let me keep the first one, and I accepted—thinking it would be great for my husband since we love La Hacienda and order all the time. We’ve always enjoyed the food, so I truly expected the correction to reflect the same quality.

Unfortunately, it didn’t. This was the second time I’ve had the same issue. I let it go the first time because I understand things happen—but to have it happen again, and to receive a lower quality replacement, is frustrating and disappointing.

Whether this happened because the kitchen was closing or not, it still reflects poorly on the business. I expected better, and I hope someone reaches out to make this right.

I genuinely wanted to continue supporting a place we’ve loved—but as a paying customer and a business owner myself, I also expect consistency, care, and accountability.

If or when this is corrected I will be more than willing to remove this review but someone needs to see what I was given ..
