Mellow Mushroom North Charleston

I’ve been to a few different branches of this place in different cities, and it’s always solid.

📍 The Spot:
Super cozy and chill—great for hanging out with friends or bringing the fam. They’ve got big tables too, so it’s perfect for groups.

🍕 The Pizza:
We got a large pizza split between Holy Shiitake and Great White. Both were really good! The edge was thick and super tasty. We were definitely happy with our choice.

🙋🏼‍♀️ The Service:
It usually takes about 20 minutes to get the pizza, no matter which location I go to. The staff is always friendly and nice.

🅿️ Parking: Plenty of Parking lots.

💭 Overall:
The pizza might not be life-changing, but it’s definitely really good. I’d totally recommend checking this place out!

Always a great place for non-traditional pizza.

This place is phenomenal! First off, we are allowed to bring our dogs and eat on the patio with them. Second, my pizza was made incorrectly so the waitress came to apologize (she hadn’t even brought it out yet) and then when she brought my pizza she let us know it was taken off the bill. They didn’t have to do that at all! We visited last year and again this year and will be back! Keep up the good work!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

I had a fantastic experience at Mellow Mushroom in North Charleston. The place was packed, which was a clear sign I had chosen the right spot! While there was a 40-minute wait for a table, I lucked out with a seat at the bar and was able to order quickly.

I tried the House Special Pizza and a Caesar salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, perfectly baked, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was crisp and flavorful, a great complement to the pizza.

Despite how busy it was, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the lively atmosphere added to the experience. If you’re a pizza lover, Mellow Mushroom is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Their mushroom soup is the best! Just that you get very little for a high price. Soup is consistent across locations. Salads and cheesebread we had were very good. We shared a peanutbutter cookie which was also unique but very good cookies are huge. 2 people 65$. High but very enjoyable. Service was also very good. It was nice atmosphere and open kitchen, there is a bar also we did not partake.
