I was in search of local seafood on my visit to Charleston and ran across this place right before they closed. Great food and fast. I will definitely come back.

Ordered large pan of mac and cheese, cabbage, and red rice for a graduation party. Food was delicious, business was easy and professional, service was great - the sweet girls at the counter loaded my food into the car for me!

The garlic blue crabs are where it's at! The bread pudding and fried shrimp were great too.

Plain ole good food, reasonably priced

The scallops were not fresh. They were fresh frozen. 75% batter and 25% overcooked miniature scallops. Owner needs to spend more time at the Dorchester Rd. Location. Why go back there when there is a brand new " Grits Counter" one mile away on West Montague Avenue?

Delicious! I had the tilapia burger with fries and pineapple tea. Everyone in the restaurant was talking about the pineapple tea as it is so good!

Now normally I wouldn’t post a bad review on a black owned business because I take pride in suporrting my people now rather me call the food inspections place I’ll just leave this here I spent 40$ in a raw fried lobster that took 30 mins or longer to come out disappointed isnt the word

Well, we were excited about having some seafood soulfood. ? Unfortunately, this spot let us down. We both had shrimp and whiting with fries. The lady stated they were out of everything else beside fries and salad. That should have been a sign to head out but we stayed. The whiting tasted like the frozen bag of fish you get at Walmart and for it to be 16$ a plate....that won't happen again. However, the shrimp tasted a lot better. The dessert was cool. We had the banana pudding and strawberry cheese cake. I don't think it was worth 9$ a piece but we had to try it all. Oh well, maybe next time! ?

By far the best seafood in the low country. The garlic shrimp is my children's favorite! We eat here once a week!!! The staff is amazing!!!

We arrived around 1:30pm to place our order and were informed the wait was 25 minutes. We left almost one hour later. It is a small takeout restaurant and was rather busy. We received additional sides because our orders were incorrect - my advice: check before leaving the restaurant.I was a little disappointed in the garlic butter shrimp and crab leg... for $35, it was underwhelming. The shrimp was cooked too long and the crab legs weren't properly cleaned before being cooked. The garlic butter had seeped below the foil and luckily didn't spill before making it back to the hotel. There was one container of sauce included but no salad dressing. The fried shrimp and flounder dinner was really good but the one piece of fish was very small. My daughter enjoyed the lemon pepper wings. The mac and cheese was delicious. The potato salad was good but I prefer more mustard. I was searching for a building like the images online but the restaurant is in a suite... I passed it and had to make a u-turn.

This place was AWSOME!It was very clean. Even though there was one person at the front register, she did not panic or rush our order. Our food was fresh as expected and well worth the trip!
