I feel this spot declined....the rice was hard the chicken was not fried hard and the waitress was not great I had to get up and flag her to request a refill...this location use to be real good with food and service but had declined

Beware, cabbage has pork in it. The basket of fish was one single piece of fish.

Excellent food with big portions and the service was just as great. I had a table for one and my server gave me just as much attention as her bigger tables. I will be returning next weekend.

We are visiting from Charlotte. Super excited to try this place. Walked in, no greeting just asked were we eating in or taking out. Food/drinks arrived quickly although we were seated at a table that had used napkins/straws already on it. Food was super hot. Chicken wings were good. My potato salad was huge chunks of potatoes, greens lacked flavor and mac n cheese was not flavorful at all.Customer service needs work, ac needs fixing and the music playlist can stand to be filtered due to families with small children being customers.

Nigel's was a hidden culinary delight as soon as we arrive to the establishment a hostess greeted us and gave us a nice booth in the restaurant. Must-haves on the smothered turkey wings add fried pork chops all the sides were done and flavorful my favorites were the mac and cheese potato salad collard greens yams for dessert get the banana pudding or bread pudding and don't forget to wash it down with that homemade peach Kool-Aid. This place will take you back to Big Mamas the food was delicious.

The food was excellent. Had the burger with gravy, red rice, collards, and make and cheese. Delicious. No salt shaker required. Seasoned perfect for my taste and not too salty. Place itself could use a cosmetic update. Dark and dingy kind of feel. But don't let that stop you from giving them a try. I would visit this restaurant again and highly recommend.
