Pho #1

Considering the constraints they're under due to Covid-19 (take-out only), I was impressed. None of the drinks (Thai iced tea, in example) are currently being made or sold due to this, but the full food menu appears to be the same as normal. The food is simple, home-style, Viet cuisine and seems very authentic in flavor and extremely reasonable in price. Guilty of underestimating this place. Guilty of judging without actually trying. I am forgiven and now a better person. Though I shop at the H&L, the grocery/retail store that Pho Number 1 is located in often enough, I have actually never tried Pho Number 1. Best pho I've found so far in Charleston! Closest thing to what I've had in queens & Hanoi. We both ordered the p2 pho tai which was rare beef slices over noodles and it was just divine. AND you can't beat the price (huge bowl for $9.) we'll be back!
