This was our family's first time having Pho, and it didn't disappoint. Pho 79 Charleston is a little hidden gem that made me a lover of Pho for life. Everything was fresh, and from the other patrons that were there, it was authentic. We had the beef and meatball pho, house fried rice with choice of two proteins we chose chicken and shrimp. some of the BEST pho in south carolina!! it’s run by a husband and wife. the wife is absolutely the sweetest woman around. the food was delicious. pho broth had such a nice, rich umami flavor. the vermicelli bowl was loaded with protein and vegetables, so good so fresh. very authentic viet food. thai teas were good too! 10/10 would recommend ❤️🤤
The food was phenomenal. Truth be told, we went in on accident as we were trying to find a different one. However, the food and service was amazing. It was so good my nose started to water. So we basically forgot about the other restaurant immediately. 10/10 would visit again.
