I love me a red crab now!! The blue crab It's reasonably priced, seafood is usually always pretty fresh and if I decide to eat inside, it's clean!

*insert chef's kiss* quite a euphoric food experience for me. This is my 2nd time having a seafood boil and this one kicked the other one's butt. 10/10

We had a group of people and this was last resort that could accommodate last minute. The food options were basically fried, fried, fried, fried or messy peel yourself. The food was tasteless and not as expected from menu description. Over 70% of our party left about 70% of their meal uneaten (we are NOT a picky crew). Service was super slow, took an unusual amount of time to get food once ordered, no special orders, and then we waited over 50 minutes to get the bill and have mistakes revised. Word to the wise, if you find yourself at this restaurant (I'd think twice) and you order "Cajun fries" they will be served as regular fries with a bowl of oily "Cajun" seasoning on the side which our crew found displeasing at best. There are far better options awaiting your epicurean experience! Bon Appétit

Hard place to understand what to order but special with "all sauce" was good. BYOB was a shocker

Did take out and great food! Would go back! In town looking for places to live and asked our hotel concierge for a quick recommendation. Forgot to ask for plates and napkins because we didn't realize the food platters actually come in a plastic bag.

Great seafood for a good price. Roomy environment and people are very friendly. Had the catfish basket and was very tasty. Generous portions and onion rings are a must have with the basket. Plenty of TV's to catch your sports while you eat. I would recommend.

I tried the Red Crab while staying in walking distance because I wanted to go for a full Low-Country Boil while I was, well, in the Low Country! As a personal policy, when I'm on business on the road, I prefer to sit at the bar to eat (if there is one) because there may be a fellow traveler, or a local, who can guide me to a fun location. When I sat down, I got a commercial for the Red Crab being blared throughout the restaurant via the radio station of choice. The channel on the TV was the evening news (ok, it was the 6pm news) but it had a commercial for the Red Crab in between segments. At one point, I asked if the channels were suggested because they supported advertising for the restaurant, and was told that they do. That was Red Flag #1. My LCB arrived as ordered, but the spice profile I had requested could hardly be discerned from any other. The buttery, spicy mix well permeated the shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, but I couldn't discern Cajun spices from any others (not a palate problem, I promise!) That was Red Flag #2, because... What it didn't do, was last beyond 15 minutes as a liquid surrounding boiled fixins and spices. Though Chemistry and Heat Transfer are important in mass production (engineer review), the Red Crab failed on both counts. Though nothing was undercooked, other LCB elements didn't last long enough to stay liquid until dinner was done beyond (maybe) half an hour. Butter and spices solidified to anything at random, and I decided to be finished and on my way. If you're looking for LCB near the Tanger Outlets of North Charleston and want a meal for the right price, this place is not really for you compared to others... but if you're from out of town and want to experience authentic LCB, please look elsewhere; the locals will thank you for patronizing them.

Great place for a Boil! But as you know they can be messy (loved the bib and gloves they provided. We had shrimp, crawfish (toughest to shell, but after a few I got the hang) and lobster tail. We did the medium spice (didn't think it was too spicy) with all the sauces (Delicious!!) - it came with potatoes and corn - so tasty!

The menu online and at the restaurant are different. They do not have po boys like the online menu indicates. They also do not have a full liquor bar, as the website or their name implies. My brother-in-law did not like the place as soon as he walked in, but my food was personally awesome. I ordered the Dungeness Special with Medium Juicy Special sauce. It was more than enough to fill me up.

Is it messy? Yes. Is it greasy? Yes. Is it delicious? Yes. Got the weekend special: 1/2 lb of snow crab, lobster tail, 1 lb of shrimp, potatoes and corn with the juicy sauce medium heat. It was great and delicious. No complaints except no beer but hey the food was great.

Had dinner there last night with my friend and my daughter. I got the Dungeness crab meal with garlic butter. OMG it was so good! Came with shrimp, potatoes, corn on the cob, and of course a large Dungeness crab! I didn't make it to the potatoes as it's a lot of food! Our waiter, Tai, was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. I can't vouch for my daughter and friend's food, they ordered fried shrimp and fried oysters respectively, but they both said theirs was good as well. Give this place a shot! You won't go home hungry!

I was so excited to go, just to have a rude waitress, named Amber. She was so disrespectful and her breathe smelt so bad you could literally smell her breathing through her mask. . Not something I should smell at a restaurant! Very disappointed. Never will come back
