I was among a party of 12 people. The service by our waitresses were wonderful! They were knowledgeable regarding the menu and patiently answered questions about food options. Also, the food was delicious, especially their cheddar garlic biscuits.
I hadn’t been to Red Lobster in years. Came to this location while visiting family expecting quality. This location is a joke to say the least. Brought out the kids food 30 minutes before anything else. Then still waited on the other half of food even longer. Service is horrible. Portions are very small. Can’t believe Red Lobster has gotten this bad.

I went to Red Lobster on Monday with my daughter for a Lobsterfest Meal! First, the Hostess declined to allow us to sit at a booth in the bar area to have biscuits and something to drink while we order our takeout. The Hostess informed me that the booths in the bar area were for their Customers and I asked her….Well, Who the Hell am I?” Next, We were informed that we had to stand at a “Big Hole in the wall(called a window) to order our takeout.( the bartender used to do the takeouts, plus it’s an opportunity to earn more tips)! We looked in the window and there were about 6-8 people in the kitchen that just looked at us but never came to the window to take our order so we left. Red Lobster needs to close. “Shitty service” North Charleston location!🙃
We visited 2 weeks ago we sat in the bar area,the waiter was horrible! Was a dirty table across from us was disgusting it never got cleaned the 3 hours we was there I mean food on the floor the bar area only had maybe 4 tables sat and bar was dry. No bartender. The waiter was rude,didn't smile,didn't even told us his name.he had to make our drinks that was disgusting 🤢 our food was brought out by another waitress probably due to sitting in the window my food was cold,rice extremely hard.the manager had it recook and the recook and they forgot my toppings on my mashpotateos recook also.food was trash,waiter was the worst waiter I've ever experienced. Everything was trash!!!!! Don't have service by the guy waiter🤢🤮👎🏽# not worth my $86

If anyone was curious why they had to file for bankruptcy last year then visit this location. Exemplary example of what not to do.

Tl;Dr: very long wait and food that didn't make up for it
I don't often post reviews, and when I do it's because an establishment was either amazing or just awful, and sadly, this was the latter. Unorganized staff, our waiter was behind the bar for the vast majority of our experience, and there was consistently anywhere from 3-6 people just hanging out and laughing at the host stand.
Food: ordered at roughly 7:30 pm, and food arrived at 8:45 literally as we were about to get up and just pay for our drinks. I had the NY strip, husband had a lobster tail/salmon/shrimp entree I don't remember the name of. My steak was fine, although very gristle-y, however my husband's meal was overcooked across the board, and unfortunately we had waited over an hour just to receive any food (one basket of biscuits arrived at our table around 20-30 minutes after we were sat, but aside from that we were both starving), so rather than send it back and risk waiting another hour, he ate it and we left.
Service: we expected a busy restaurant. It's Friday, we weren't in a rush by any means, but with our waiter apparently also being a bartender, we saw him exactly three times after sitting: once to order, once to get our drinks, and once to get our food. Stopped by once to refill a drink before running off again, we had to stop him as he rushed past to ask for more biscuits so we could at least have something to eat, and didn't see him again until he brought our entrees out, sans biscuits. Also, didn't really seem like the place was very full at all, so unless like half the staff just didn't show up, I genuinely have no idea what excuse there could be for us waiting over a hour from ordering to get our food.
Atmosphere: I don't wanna be at work when I'm there. Let's be honest, we'd all rather be at home doing things we enjoy, but especially in service jobs when you're interfacing with the public, you have to kind of grin and bear it, but it was very obvious nobody wanted to be there. Saw very few staff out on the floor and when our drinks first came to our table, what looked like a 15 year old girl was serving them and she realized she had no idea which was which so rather than just give us our sodas and let us figure it out, she took them back, dumped them out, and poured them again. Kind of a non issue in the face of everything else I guess, but... Come on, man..
Overall: I'm really just disappointed on so many levels. My husband and I are young, both working, and we don't get to go out often. We fully understand and respect how hard food service workers work and that they aren't always treated or paid well, but when we decide to splurge and try to have a nice date night, I would expect us both to get something we enjoy eating, otherwise we'd just cook at home and get the meal done a lot faster. This was my first time ever at a red lobster and sadly I can say with 100% confidence we will not be returning to this location.

Today, March 1,2025 we went here after church. The restaurant was not crowded however they did have a big party(that shouldn’t have nothing to do with serving your other customers). Donnie came to our table be an after waiting an hour for COLD RAW food, and they are diabetics he failed to provide a resolution. Both he and the hostess went back and forth still leaving us at the table and atp we are ready to go. Finally Donnie came back after the hostess asked us if he had came back to the table which atp he hadn’t. At the end of the day, if you take a role know how to play that role. Know how to service customers. Be considerate. Being attentive. From the time we were seated we had to run the hostess down for drinks, bread and to order. Totally unacceptable. Consuming raw food can be deadly and lead to other health problems. This is a reflection of why there are not many Red Lobsters around.

Same food, smaller portions, higher prices. The best part of the entire meal was the biscuits!!! The food wasn't even hot. Never again, I'm done.

Absolutely horrible experience!! Our food took 1 hour and 20 minutes to come out! They were so understaffed. Dirty tables everywhere, servers running around like crazy, empty tables but lots of people waiting. Between when we got our drinks, and when the food came out, the server did not check on us at all. I finally flagged down a manager and she checked on our food. It came out two minutes later. Our Lobsters and steak were slightly warm. The crab legs were cold! Disgustingly cold. It was awful. The best “food” was the biscuit. Never again.

I gave 3 stars because our food was either cold or room temperature. The ONLY reason I’m giving it that high of a rating was because of our waitress. Terri was AMAZING!! The BEST service we’ve had in a while! She made sure our drinks were filled and we didn’t run out of bread. She communicated every time she came to check up on us on how much longer our food would be. The ONLY reason we would go back is to see Terri!

I made a reservation for 7:30 on our birthday as a surprise for my husband, he always talks about going back to red lobster- 1) bathrooms were AWFUL literally pee was all over the floor and no tissues in either bathroom 2) UNPROFESSIONAL service from management and children servers 3) Smell was gross 🤮 (carpet)he sat down and his hand went in something wet!4) wrong drink - ask for crown and coke and got apple crown and coke (really sweet) she threw down the drinks and ran away so fast 💨 never came back - so we left disappointed! I really want someone to call me because to say this is the only red lobster around you guys gotta do better - gotta please and yes I have pictures

Sat for 10 minutes, asked the guy cleaning the tables to let the waitress know we were there. He never even acknowledged we were talking other that just looking at us. Another 5 minutes with no person coming to check on us. We left.

Absolutely ridiculous tonight 2/14/2025 made dinner reservations for 7:45 for 4 people got there around 7:20 checked in with the host and waited and got told that they will seat me in just a few minutes, 20 minutes roll by still not seated okay I get it’s Valentine’s Day so we waiting some more they kept sitting the 2 people reservation and we waiting then I was getting frustrated so I went back and they said their kitchen is backed up and can’t seat my party of 4 and it will be another 20 minutes at this point it was 8:45 so I said forget about it we will go somewhere else!! If you make reservations you need to honor it and seat the ones who made the reservation first. But I get it’s Valentine’s Day and y’all are busy but I’m extremely dissatisfied with this type of service .
