**Update: I was last here in January. Now it's August and I'm back. They've completely changed the inside and it looks amazing. Added a video of the interior. ** THE BEST cabbage I've ever had. Maybe the best ox tails too? The whole plate was DELICIOUS and everybody else thought so too. We all ordered the same thing with a ginger beer on the side, the flavors danced in perfect harmony!!

They updated their restaurant in a new space close to the old one on Rivers Ave. The curry chicken is the best I’ve eaten anywhere, period. The service was super friendly and the vibe is Jamaica 🇯🇲 in Charleston ✌️. Come get lunch, you will not regret it!!

The food was ok. They ran out of jerk chicken, so I got the jerk wings for my daughter and I got curry chicken. The curry chicken was tender but the curry flavor was not bold enough. The rice and peas were dry and the jerk sauce was a little water down. The jerk wings were good just had to add the jerk sauce. They need to stay stalked up on their food selection items. The cabbage was good though.

As a Jamaican chef I don’t normally do this but I strongly believe that you could have done way better than this honestly fried chicken was too salty too much season salt secondly jerk chicken was just browning and season no jerk at all plantain was cooked for at least 3 hours before I purchase our food..
