I was happy to see they were closed. Food is not good at all and customer service is extra rude.

Overpriced BBQ that’s just okay. Portion sizes of meat are lame. We got a piece of pie, $6 for the tiniest little sliver. Will not be returning. When we came to pick up, the restaurant was dead, we were ignored until we finally flagged down someone to help us.

Just ate here and I honestly say I was extremely disappointed with the service and some of the food. To start, the restaurant was dead. Only a couple tables with people a few people at the bar. We waited atleast 10 minutes before the waitress even came to our table to get our drink orders. It took over 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered when the restaurant was practically empty. Our server was clueless, rude, and barely checked in on our table. We had a party of 10 people (4 adults and 6 children)and 3 out the 10 meals were not correct. When brought to the servers attention, she blew us off and was not apologetic at all. Drinks were constantly empty, burgers were not correct, and my wings were tough, dry, and still had wing hairs/feather on them. I showed this to the server and was ignored. The bill was almost $300 split into 2 bills. The quality of service and food was definitely not worth the price. Props to the bartender who was actually more helpful, polite, and friendly than our actual server. We will not be visiting this establishment again mostly due to the poor service.

Yummy yummy. Will definitely eat here again. The brisket tacos are the best and would also recommend the potatoe salad.

Bartenders were really nice! The environment was interesting, couple visits were dead in there. One person came in looking for trouble and was escorted out. Another person separately randomly threatened us to go outside. It was a weird situation for two random strangers to stir trouble, but not the facilities fault. The bartenders were nice and the drinks were good.

New to me in park circle, Southern Roots Smokehouse offers traditional barbecue. The brisket was tender and the collards were perfectly seasoned. Prices were in the high side but it's a nice place to sit outside and enjoy some good food.

We came to try a good example of the SC BBQ and it was a disaster. Brisket and ribs were dry as a bone, awful coleslaw, potato salas, meh. Terrible service, filthy place. The beer was cold, though. I cannot understand the good reviews to this place. Never

Wish I took a picture, but the Philly Cheesesteak was better than every Cheesesteak I've had in Philly. Amazing atmosphere, food was hot and seasoned perfectly. Waitress was fast, friendly, and great overall as well!

If you're looking for an amazing brunch, please try out their brunch menu! The breakfast nachos were amazing! It was a little loud by the bar, but that's to be expected. There's outside dining as well and they appear to be pet friendly on the patio!Parking: Since they were busy it was slightly hard to find parking but there are signs for a free parking lot approximately a block away.

The appetizer was great the macaroni balls where really great. I took my wife and kid there just to try something new and let me tell you it was worth it. The food was great and the service was on point the man that took our order and knew everything. We are going back in time

Ordered their taco Tuesday special. Typically love bbq tacos. Was sadly disappointed. Food was cold, soda was flat and service was only OK especially considering they weren’t very busy. This was my first visit and I will try it again. Hoping for a better meal. Staff was friendly.

Came here with a group of friends for my birthday. This was my 1st time here. There was zero waiting, and we were seated right away. There were no other patrons there. We sat inside. It was hot in there. And the flies were terrible. I dont know if the ac was not working or what. But it was warm. My group ordered a little of everything. So we tasted off each other plates. I will say that the pork rinds and the pimento cheese was good. The pork belly was good (not worth the price for the amount). The brisket Philly was good. The sides. The Mac and cheese was basic, and the cole slaw my friend was served was sour. The collards were good.Didn't like the fact that I ordered a 2 meat plate, and it was an upcharge for the brisket and the pork belly. The upcharge is not the problem. My problem was for a dish that was well over $35 they only gave you two small pieces of meat. I took it that it was supposed to be at least a 1/2 pd each. It was not. The food was not worth the cost. The waiter was able to accommodate us without any problems, and he did provide great service.Sorry, but I will not be back.

Brisket was very good. Wings were good size with Old Bay. Very nicely done. Learned that Old Bay and a piece of celery tastes amazing. Found a new favorite. Friendly staff. Clean and accommodating for a family. Has a bar for those wishing to drink. Two separated areas made dining a better experience. Juke box available to choose your own favorite tunes. Has a pool table, too.

Forgot my sauces. The brisket is pulled? Either that or just the leftover scraps. Mac and cheese and pork were tasty.

What I ordered: 1 pound of brisket, 2 meat platter with sausage and pork belly, potato salad, and baked beans. Sounds good right? Paid $60.What I got: 10oz of brisket ( I weighed it with the foil) that was incredibly subpar. Not sliced but in weird chunks, oddly tough, and dry. Paid an additional $5 fee for the pork belly. Got two whole slices amounting to maybe 4 bites. Got two relatively small sausage links with a very weird, gritty consistency (couldn't eat it). Baked beans amounted to maybe 3 spoon fulls. Overall this amount of food could maybe satisfy 1 person if he or she is not terribly hungry for a meager $60. (If it was all edible that is) Overall, and I can't overstate this, has been the WORST BBQ experience I've had. The shear amount given for the price was insulting and the quality of food was an assault on my taste buds. Never again.
