Nothing fancy, but delicious, fresh fish and fries.
Don't forget a lot of malt vinegar!

We met Adam the owner who came to hurricane hit Little Switzerland NC right after the storm subsided. He and his team brought massive amounts of supplies from BBQ grills and charcoal to baby needs, water, generators and even went so far on a return trip to bring a portable smoker and cooked an entire meal for our village. We decided after a month of volunteering to celebrate my wifes birthday here in lovely Charleston and of course a meal at the Codfathers restaraunt. The atmosphere is very English Pub style with a great selection of beers/ wine, friendly staff and large tasty portions at a great price. If you love fish and chips this is a must go !!

placed my lunch order on Monday not knowing they were closed. picked up my order today and asked if they were always closed on Mondays and the girl at the register said yes, with an attitude. Won't be returning there no time soon. Never had issues until today

The full fish is definitely enough to share. Light & flakey, battered & fried to perfection, this hefty filled comes paired with the traditional chips. Add on a cup of curry sauce or brown gravy to get your full Brit on.

Delicious fish and chips, fried perfectly. It did take about 30 minutes to get our order, however, despite the crowd not being overly large.

Definitely try their pineapple beer on tap. It's awesome. I always have one while I'm waiting for my food order. Great personalities as well.

This was very good
We were visiting Charleston, and searching for fish and chips through Maps, and decided on this place because they had a nice British beer selection. I don't want to sound too over the top, but that was some excellent fish and chips, certainly at the top of the best I've ever had. Light breading, not very greasy at all, and with a Tennent's beer, it was easily the best meal I had in Charleston.
We sat at the bar, and we had excellent service.
A day later, I was still thinking "that was a damn good fish and chips... if I ever get back the Charleston, I will make this place my first and last meal while I am there!

The staff was awesome, were awesome? Very family and friends atmosphere. I enjoyed the conversation all around. Awesome place to go to have a great meal, great conversation and accurate Beer information ;) the bartender was second to none. Note: NOT Affiliated with the Codfather in Nexton.
Dietary restrictions: Very consciousness of customers dietary restrictions.
Parking: They have overflow parking if the parking lot fills up.
Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu that feels like it was designed by a parent who understands how picky kids can be.
Wheelchair accessibility: There would be absolutely no issue cruising around this establishment in a wheelchair.
