The food is wonderful and so is the staff! While sitting outside, a bird pooped in my food. The staff made me a whole new bowl with no issues. 10/10 for service!

First time here. Had the special of chili grits with hush puppies (largest hush puppies I've had) and paired with High West bourbon on the rocks. Fantastic! Very filling and tasty. Service was great as well. I'll be back!

Absolutely delicious!! I'm glad we found this place online with the great reviews. I’ve been waiting to find a great place like this since I’ve moved to SC.
Me and my fiancé enjoyed everything, and the staff are amazing!! Great southern taste. Thank you!!
We recently went back and had some delicious chicken and waffles. WOW!! How can something be so delicious! Also, the cooked apples were yummy. We look forward to our next trip.

Some of the best southern comfort food I've had. The grits are fantastic but the combinations of protein and veggies with them is a home run.

This was one of the best breakfast places we’ve ever found!
The service was great and fast. Cool vibe.
But those grit bowls are unreal.
Here’s a pic of rancheros grit bowl. And the dirty bird
If you are anywhere near this place you should try it.

Sooo many options. My family got a bunch of stuff to share . The hush puppies were great! Plenty of ourltdoor seating behind in the shade and breeze .And the banana pudding soft serve for dessert was a great send off from South Carolina before heading back to rainy Seattle. I'd recommend it for anybody hungry going to or from the airport!

Grits are one of the most affordable, tasty hot breakfast foods ,That's just one reason it's a Southern staple. On that note, I went to Grit Counter for the first and last time for $20 for a bowl of I can make grits at home.
I asked the management why they were priced the way they were , the response to "because of the economy , and it's all made fresh "The inflation rate is 3.9%
My order was a build your own bowl
(Grilled chicken , scallions, spinach, and gravy over grits )
Again, grits are one of the cheapest things to make for breakfast.
This restaurant is an excellent example of
capitalism.
On top of the claimed inflatated prices
They charge 3.5% if you pay with card
I would I recommend this place absolutely not.
