The atmosphere is the best part of the place. I had the smash burger , my wife ordered hot chicken, I should have got the chicken It was much better than my burger. They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.

We went here straight from the airport for lunch and it was delicious. My kids had never tried grits so it was a great place to try several kinds. The fried hot chicken was really tasty and crispy. My favorite grit was jalapeño cheese. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming as well as helpful in ordering.

I had a bowl with red rice grits and chicken with spinach, corn, and sausage gravy. It was fantastic. Had to fight to finish the last couple bites with how filling it is but I wasn’t about to waste any of it. It was nice sitting out back on the

The children sandwich is a great option for anyone anti grits. However as someone who never enjoined grits their flight is a game changer. The Gouda grits are good enough to make me finally understand the hype. For a counter service restaurant they do a fantastic job with the dining experience. Shout out to the peach sweet tea its good enough to make any southerner proud. Fingers crossed I get a sister location in Atlanta because I dream of these grits.
