waited 20 minutes to get seated, got seated and received no service for over 10-15 minutes! Got told the server was getting trained but still waited a additional 5 minutes to get drinks that we ordered, the hash browns were burnt ! Told them remake it and got another burnt hash brown! Donut tasted horrible as well! Overall would rate this location a .5/10 highly disappointed.
Great food, friendly staff, good vibes
It’s a cute little spot, but they advertise things having a vegan option but don't actually have replacements, they just remove the egg and mayo from the sandwich and charge you full price plus a fee to add avocado which you need on a dry sandwich since they don’t have vegan mayo. The huevos rancheros can be made vegan but all they do is remove the egg and then you're basically getting a bean and onion sauté. Just wish there were actual vegan substitutions. The non vegan options were pretty good.
Perfect breakfast spot. Food is delicious. I have no complaints!
The food was genuinely good — unfortunately, that’s the only positive thing I can say. The service was truly disappointing from start to finish. We were told there would be a 30-minute wait but ended up standing around for over an hour before being seated. Once we were finally at a table, we weren’t greeted or acknowledged for about 15 minutes. No one brought us menus — we had to pull them up online just to figure out what to order.
We watched multiple tables that arrived after us get their food while we were still waiting to place an order. Once our food was finally in, it took over 40 minutes to arrive, and in that entire time, not a single person came by to check on us. We eventually had to flag someone down just to ask where our food was. When the manager got involved, we got excuses instead of solutions — and no gesture of accountability, not even a small comp or sincere apology.
This was a genuine miss on their part as we were a group out celebrating my bachelorette weekend.
Told 20 minute wait was over an hour to get seated. Another 20 minutes to take order and then another 40 minutes for food. Not that busy apparently cook top was full? Great vibe but terrible service.
This is a cute little place to try something new. Quite overpriced. They do not start serving alcohol until 10 AM, so that's something to keep in mind if you'd like one of their mimosas or bloody marys.
Miguel & Lauren are wonderful to begin the morning with. Miguel with a welcoming smile & Lauren with her drink concoctions are both a pleasure.
This place is very cute, and has an intimate vibe with the low lighting. They also have outdoor seating available. We came in for breakfast during a weekday and were able to get seated right away. Based on the recommendations of our server I ordered the Mexican hash, which comes with pork, beans, cheesy hashbrown and I added avocado. All of these ingredients sound great but somehow the dish was completely lacking flavor. I ended up adding hot sauce to make it more edible. My sister got the biscuits with chicken and gravy and her dish was pretty good. I tried my nephew's French toast and it was just ok. The food that we had was pretty underwhelming which was surprising given the great reviews.
The food was very interesting, fresh and tasty! The service was great!

Food really good nice classic place to eat service is really nice.
Had to wait 2 hrs and eventually left without food.
Great food! It’s got a diner feel, old inside, unique chefs menu. Wait can be long since it’s a small place. Great people and food!
It was okay but not worth the wait and slow service. They brought the wrong food out to us multiple times: first they brought another table's food to us and set it down without confirming if they got it right, then they tried to bring some more of that table's food out to us again, then they brought out our food out but the order still wasn't right- my kids food was missing a side, and my sandwich was missing eggs and shitake bacon. They eventually got it right.
We ordered straight off the menu without making any substitutions so maybe they just didn't know their menu? Or table numbers? Kitchen staff was short? Idk. We waited 15 minutes to get a table, and at least 45 minutes for food after we ordered. The house chips were overly crisp and not salty, the shitaake bacon on my sandwich was sparse and not sure they put any culinary effort to transform the shitaake into bacon flavors so idk why they call bother calling it shitaake bacon.
I probably wouldn't have bothered to write this review, but after all that, the one part that left me feeling salty was that when I paid the check, the electronic tip options were locked in to choose between 30%, 25% or 20%. I understand tip culture and Charleston cost of living, but I definitely would have preferred to have a choice on that, considering the poor experience. Not planning to go back anytime soon even though the cocktail menu looked great.
Wanted to be excited and the food did look good but after sitting for 30 minutes and no one took our order we left. It was busy but not slammed. 🤷🏼♀️. Maybe we did it wrong?
