Great hotel, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! All stay if friendly and helpful and there are lots of great options for breakfast as well as coffee, tea and snack thru the day!

Asked staff to fill up our little cooler for the day and they happily did so which was an amazing blessing!

Rooms are clean and spacious and have a fully stocked kitchenet and pleanty of room in the room itself!

This place is really nice. Great rooms people are really nice. Breakfast is really good. They also do dinner in Tuesday nights free of charge, its called the managers special night. Amazing! I will be back.

My 4-day, 3-night stay was unfortunately disappointing. The air conditioning in our room did not function properly for over half of our stay, despite the AC unit being replaced twice before it was finally resolved. Spending multiple nights without reliable AC made the experience very uncomfortable.

On day two, I requested clean towels, but the hotel staff interpreted that as only wanting towels and not wanting housekeeping service. Due to the hotel’s every-other-day housekeeping schedule, our room was never cleaned a single time during our entire stay.

After raising these concerns with the front desk, the manager explained that because I booked under a discounted group rate for an event, no monetary compensation could be offered — only hotel points. That response gave the impression that guests booking through group rates are not treated fairly when service issues occur.

One positive aspect of the hotel is its location. There are plenty of stores and restaurants located very close by, which made it convenient to find food, shopping, and other necessities during our stay.

Overall, the lack of communication, poor housekeeping service, unresolved maintenance problems, and unwillingness to provide fair compensation made this stay very disappointing.

Had a 3 week stay here for business and stayed in ground floor suite which had refrig, microwave, stove and high ceiling. My only complaint was water pressure in shower.
For price point all was great. Room, location, amenities, pool, service. Minutes to airport. Daily breakfast had all you need. Donna? and staff greeted all with smile at 6am before starting work.

My sister recommended this hotel and she was right - this hotel was excellent! The staff was friendly and professional and happy. The room was clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast options were plentiful. The fresh fruit and the spinach quiche were delicious. I had an enjoyable experience and I will come back to TownePlace Suites when I visit Charleston again.

Nice people, your typical airport hotel. Rooms on the top floor and more up to date than the ones on the ground floor, but overall nice and clean. Always happy to stay here.

Disppointment with Follow-Up Regarding Forgotten Items left in room!!!! Selena (sp?) was no help!!!We were there 04/19 and 04/20 (Room 341) and overall we were satisfied with our stay. The staff was ok at the front desk and the employees at the breakfast were very friendly and outgoing.I want to express my disappoinment with the follow-up regarding some expensive items that were inadvertently left behind. During my stay I accidentally left my blow dryer, curling iron and styling tools in the cabinet in the bathroom. Upon realizing the mistake, we promptly contacted the hotel to inquire about retrieving the items. Unfortunately, the response received was unprofessional and disappointing. On three occasions we spoke with Selena who seemed bothered and uninterested in our request. She initially said that there was nothing she could do. On my second call she said that it's not in the room and with an attitude said maybe housekeeping took the items. I requested to speak with a supervisor and she told me that there was no supervisor working. I called later in the day and spoke with Ben who told me that he would leave a note for the housekeeping supervisor on their desk and that somebody would contact me back. The next day I contacted the hotel again and for the 3rd time I got Selena. She told me that she couldn't do anything or was even willing to ask the person who was currently in room 341 (who entered the room the day after us and expected to stay until May 27th, yes May 27th). I requested to speak with a supervisor and Selena said that she was out on lunch, but she would have her call me when she returned. To date we haven't heard back from anyone.We are loyal guests and Marriott Bonvoy members, who expected a higher level of customer service that really should be extended to any guest as you are employed in customer service. We have been left to feel as undervalued customers. Such oversights can have a significant impact on the overall guest experience and tarnish the reputation of an otherwise reputable establishment.

Check in was a breeze. Clean rooms. Quiet stay. Breakfast Saturday morning felt like I was at a Waffle House. The service staff Sat morning were just lovely people! Love being asked if I need anything from a person who genuinely means it. Great staff! 10 starts for them.Rooms: Clean room & great breakfast spread.

Great stay, very hospitable staff. I accidentally sent a DoorDash to a neighboring Townplace Suites and they went over and picked it up for me and brought it to the correct hotel.
