Disppointment with Follow-Up Regarding Forgotten Items left in room!!!! Selena (sp?) was no help!!!We were there 04/19 and 04/20 (Room 341) and overall we were satisfied with our stay. The staff was ok at the front desk and the employees at the breakfast were very friendly and outgoing.I want to express my disappoinment with the follow-up regarding some expensive items that were inadvertently left behind. During my stay I accidentally left my blow dryer, curling iron and styling tools in the cabinet in the bathroom. Upon realizing the mistake, we promptly contacted the hotel to inquire about retrieving the items. Unfortunately, the response received was unprofessional and disappointing. On three occasions we spoke with Selena who seemed bothered and uninterested in our request. She initially said that there was nothing she could do. On my second call she said that it's not in the room and with an attitude said maybe housekeeping took the items. I requested to speak with a supervisor and she told me that there was no supervisor working. I called later in the day and spoke with Ben who told me that he would leave a note for the housekeeping supervisor on their desk and that somebody would contact me back. The next day I contacted the hotel again and for the 3rd time I got Selena. She told me that she couldn't do anything or was even willing to ask the person who was currently in room 341 (who entered the room the day after us and expected to stay until May 27th, yes May 27th). I requested to speak with a supervisor and Selena said that she was out on lunch, but she would have her call me when she returned. To date we haven't heard back from anyone. We are loyal guests and Marriott Bonvoy members, who expected a higher level of customer service that really should be extended to any guest as you are employed in customer service. We have been left to feel as undervalued customers. Such oversights can have a significant impact on the overall guest experience and tarnish the reputation of an otherwise reputable establishment.

Great stay, very hospitable staff. I accidentally sent a DoorDash to a neighboring Townplace Suites and they went over and picked it up for me and brought it to the correct hotel.

I love Marriott, been staying with them for years. You have to do something about the showers. It seems like it’s the same design at many of the remodeled Townplace Suites I stay at. I understand you’re probably going for some kind of “modern look” by having no shower door but it didn’t work. Maybe if you had bigger showers but immediately after turning the shower on it starts pooling on the bathroom floor. Not a little splash over but an entire puddle that covers a quarter of the bathroom. Keep in mind this is after me trying to aim the shower head as low as possible to avoid this. It takes me completely soaking an entire other towel every shower to soak it up.On the good side this forces you to rush through your shower due to the stress of watching your bathroom flood. This is an added bonus since the fact there is no door causes you to freeze your behind off as cold air flows in from the rest of the room. Finally, the good news. I have a solution, well two actually. One, the right solution, which would be to do the obvious and retrofit a sliding glass door that would solve both these problems. The only problem is this would probably cost about a grand per room, so I’m guessing it just ain’t gonna happen. The other solution would probably cost you about $100 per room and would cause no downtime.. If you simply installed a handheld showerhead. That could be pointed straight down and completely eliminate at least the flooding issue. While not freezing my rear off is a nice luxury I realize it’s not as absurd as the bathroom flooding every time you take a shower.Ok, now that we’ve said all that, what will really happen? Nothing. Why? Because Marriott is a huge company. It makes decisions like these, that are the most obvious and common sensible in the world, almost impossible. It’s problems like these that are both too small and too big for decisions to be made. I don’t blame at all the management that runs this specific location. I am sure they played no part in what types of showers were installed when they were remodeled. Even though they are now the ones that have to deal with the aftermath. if they went out on their own and just decided to fix the problem and spend $100K to update all the showers they’d probably be fired in a week. All in all, I love Marriott. Please fix the showers.

This hotel was great. Don’t have anything bad to say about it. Rooms were clean and very spacious. The gym was very nice and included a cable machine which isn’t too common in most hotels. The breakfast was great in the morning and the staff were very friendly.Walkability: There’s a mall located right down the street from the hotel and many places close by within walking distanceFood & drinks: There’s plenty of food options located within walking distance
