Ordered curbside pickup and no one ever came out. Went in and no one greeted me and 3 young ladies were away from the register on their phones and talking amongst themselves. My order was sitting in the shelf. My first açaí bowl and it was completely melted and looked terrible. Luckily it tasted good but wasn’t at all like I was expecting.

I really do not like writing these types of reviews but at this point it’s getting ridiculous. This is my third time in 1 week coming to this location and this is the third time that my order has been messed up. And before you ask, yes of course I have spoken to management and all I have gotten were oh what do you want me to do about it, or oh we don’t have anymore made up we would have to go in our storage freezer to make more. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but at this point this is just bad business. I’m very confused are you not training your staff or does your staff just don’t give a ****?? Reading is very fundamental, and the fact that you can’t read to substitute an item is crazy to me. I have also went to other locations and have yet to have this problem. Every other location makes my order correctly and surprisingly, it even looks like the picture that’s on the menu. This is regrettably my last time going to this location. The only reason I even went there is because it’s down the street from my home but I guess I have to go all the way to Daniels Island just for my order to be correct. To describe the photos that go along with this review, one order was supposed to have extra granola which they charged and extra $1 for and they never put any granola in it not even the granola that comes with it. It was also melted as of though it was sitting there all day when the order was just placed. The other photo doesn’t have the toppings that it’s supposed to have. Also, it looks as if those someone was eating out of it before they put it in the bag and stapled it shut.

I enjoy this place. Cute lickle interior. Healthyish fast food. Easy online ordering process. Friendly associates. This place is a total win for me. Oh and bangin music (R&B all day!) Thank you TSC people! Bahama Mama ONLY ALWAYS!

Disappointed today. This girl didn't want to serve me at all at register. Second time today. All telephone and pick ups was being made and orders taken on phone and im here just waiting. Gets to my smoothie 20min later. Been had my food and the blender just sitting while she takes more orders and makes others as she continues to look at me waiting.

Amiya Is an outstanding manager… always greets me kindly every time I walk into tropical cafe. She always makes my smoothie and other items correctly. I have never complained and never will because the customer service and the food is amazing. Thank you Amiya and the rest of the Tropical Smoothie Cafe members for always making my day when I order.

Good location in proximity to where I was located. The cashier was extremely pleasant and got my order finished quickly. Very clean inside! My smoothie was really good!

I have not gotten to the food yet but I'm going to give benefit of the doubt and hope for the best. I've come to this location before and food was messed up only like once, other times everything was on point. The manager gave me a card to come back with lunch on him. I'm not in the North Charleston area as much so I came down here today wanting to eat a healthy breakfast and was in middle of work so I wanted to swing by quickly I ordered from the app but before I purchased I went inside to check to see if the manager was in there because I did not have the paper card on me. I spoke to another manager there and she said he was not in so no problem I paid for my meal online. It said it was going to be about 15 minutes for the wait. I parked in the curbside and waited until almost 9:00 a.m. mind you at place to order about 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. I only share this because as a business owner myself it's important to only train and improve from here but the manager in the store at the time had my curbside order sitting up on the Shelf while I had to walk inside and watch multiple people walk out with their smoothie and food. I finally went up there to ask if my order was ready to which they grab the order and handed it to me no apology or anything. The young lady on shift with her did come and attempt to make a correction or compensate but this literally was an hour ordeal and caused me to lose out on work and potentially business. I walked back to ask why there was a delay and the young lady manager explained or made up the excuse that she didn't see my car out there but there is a big old Tropical Smoothie van blocking curbside and that's not an excuse you're supposed to come out to the car so I had to come inside. Again I totally understand she seemed overwhelmed with orders and Manning the store but it's all about your customer service and response to the situation that was very lackadaisical and unempathetic. I only say this so hopefully the boss or general manager will make Corrections that don't impact the labor because there are seemingly only two people working in the store and I've seen numerous people go in and out so it's very busy. Now I just hope that my meal is good and I can keep this at least out of three star.

It was my first time ever in a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and my experience was OUTSTANDING! The cashier that helped me Jasmine, Store Manager was so helpful and so cheerful! Her entire team from Hanna, Amiya, Kailye their ENTIRE TEAM ROCKED!!!! I will be back here! I highly recommend Tropical Smoothie CAFE!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Honestly this is the only Tropical smoothie cafe that I will go too. Even if I'm 30 minutes away. They are always so nice and welcoming. I had an issue with my drink one time and I probably came off a bit snarky if I'm being honest. They treated me with kindness and respect although I was frustrated with the situation. I can't recommend this place enough

I would like to start with if you plan on joining the tropical smoothie team I don’t suggest. They are unprofessional and don’t like to pay their employees for their work. For an example my boyfriend went to them about uping his pay because of how much time and effort he puts into his work and the over time he has been doing. They responded with using his personal life against him and not wanting to pay him for his work and even tried cutting back his hours. When he walked out they do not try to solve the problem instead removed him from the team because he just wanted the money and time he is owed.
