States that they open at 7 after sitting there a while at 7 I was told they wouldn't be open until 730 I drove to another nearby Tropical Smothie SAME situation upsetting since I drove out of my way to get there

I'm a tropical smoothie regular, albeit not at this location, but I'm leaving a review because of Genesis — who turned my whole day around.

When I carpooling to work a few days ago, I ordered some smoothies for pickup and asked my friend to grab them after she'd dropped me off. After a while, she let me know they didn't have the order. Thinking it must not have processed, I put the order for two smoothies in again ... and then realized too late that they were both placed at the North Charleston location. Not only did I not have breakfast (because my friend didn't have time to go all the way there and back), I was out forty dollars because the orders had been placed for ASAP– making them non-refundable.

A few hours later, I was making deliveries at work when I got a call from this store. The employee on the phone politely informed me that they had two of the same order waiting for me. After I explained my unfortunate mistake and telling her she didn't have to hold onto them because I wouldn't be able to pick them up until later, she offered to put them in the freezer for me.

That afternoon, when I was finally able to retrieve my four-smoothie-breakfast order, Genesis greeted me immediately and said she'd take care of my order right away. Except that instead of bringing me the melted-and-refrozen smoothies I'd purchased (and was ready to accept with shame,) she very remade the whole order fresh, kindly explaining that she knew how watery they could get after sitting too long.

I was blown away by Genesis's service, kindness, and her smoothies were really good.

I placed an order online using the Tropical Smoothie app. It was delivered short an item. I tried calling the store all day and no one answered the phone. I filed an online complaint and received a $10 we're sorry for the issue gift card. The item I was short cost more than $10 so they never actually looked into the issue.

Sign on the door always says drive through only. Last two weeks my order has been wrong twice (once per week I visit). Calling the store to get a refund and no one is answering the phones but yet employees were laughing and having a good time when I came to pick up the order this morning :|

Waited over an hour for food and never received even though was told it was coming 5xs. The staff were overwhelmed and need better training. I felt bad for them but had to walkout as the food was never coming. Would appreciate a number to call management to receive a refund.

Waited 30 mins after “expected” time for order to be ready, along with multiple other people. The young lady doing the food started asking who got what and said that tickets weren’t being printed so she was making them when asked. Another young lady told someone in line that she couldn’t take their order for some reason but could take it in the drive through, which had a very long line when I left. I think the 3 young ladies that were working were doing the best they could, but they definitely should have been better staffed and better led.

Asked for a small cup size and got charged for a big cup? Got completely scammed and couldn’t get my money back or a bigger size after we received our order. Very rude with no help. The reviews shows how bad this place is.

As I was trying to get food they had told me they didn’t have smoothie bowls then when me and my friend walked out one of the girls said “bye hoe” this happened on June 15th at 4:02pm. Terrible and disgusting customer service

I placed a pick up order.
I got the acai bowl with Nutella , no honey.
I added (read paid more for) mangos, peanut butter and cacao nibs.
The acai bowl had no peanut butter or acai.
It was not great. I reached out via the website... some person named Malik text me saying he saw my complaint but my email wasn't working so he processed a refund.. I replied asking what email he was trying. No reply.
No refund. Strange all around.
I still ate it, but it wasn't what I wanted.

Google says that it opens at 9am. Showed up at 9:18 this morning. Not open. Say am employee inside. Called, did not pick up the phone. I waster 30 minutes out of my day driving here.

I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes with only 2 other cars in front of me before they were able to take my order. It took another 15 minutes to receive my order.

By far the worst experience I've had at a tropical smoothie. I place an online order and it took me 7 minutes to get there and after being there for 25 minutes I still had not received my one smoothie. There were four employees and only one person making smoothies and she was struggling. She wasn't getting help from her co-workers, and after I got my smoothie there was no taste to it. I ordered a Chia banana boost and you could not taste banana or cinnamon or anything in it it just tasted like a cup of ice. And after I already wasting 30 minutes of my time I didn't even want to stick around for her to remake it I just left there on the counter and told her that I hope she has a better day. But this establishment was terrible. It's like four teenagers were in their unsupervised and don't know anything about teamwork. No refund either. I probably won't ever come back to this tropical smoothie
