If you aren’t staying in the hotel, it’s a little awkward and set up weird. We went close to closing though, and had great service and excellent food. We would definitely go back.

Brought some leftovers back from a restaurant and was told we couldn't bring in outside food or drink into the common eating area...despite allowing a large hockey team to do so previously.Asked for a mixed drink just to have the waiter state he didn't know how to make it then walked away without checking if there was something else we would like to order. They have salesmen that accost you right when you enter the door, interrupt you when you're sitting with friends. High pressure annoyance. You could do a whole lot better than this place.

I've been to scores of Hilton hotels and usually have had pleasant experiences at Double Trees. Of course all of the previous ones served breakfast. I will say that the employees were nice and willing to help. That includes the person who greeted me at the front desk. When I asked for the gluten free chocolate chip cookies, I was told they didn't have them. So much for Double Tree promising they would be available at all locations. That honestly didn't surprise me and wasn't a big deal. But what really surprised me and was disappointing was the lack of a real breakfast option in the hotel. All they had was a Starbucks with one case of gluten filled pastries and a few yogurts with a smattering of fruit. I'm still at a loss for words about this poor excuse of a breakfast. It was so bad it made me almost forget about the room, which was dirty, a little smelly and had a malfunctioning light.

Very nice place to dine. It’s definitely pricey, but I don’t think you will be disappointed. I had the ribeye. Very generous portion and well prepared.

Double Tree by Hilton in Charleston South Carolina. This hotel is located at west Charleston. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the hotel. It's almost 20 minutes away from downtown Charleston. This Double Tree is amazing! The atmosphere is incredible and the staff is so friendly. Our stay was Sunday June 18, 2023. The price for one night is $150.00. It's really easy to navigate through the hotel by following the signs. As soon you drive up to the hotel. It's like you are at a Caribbean hotel. It's looks amazing with the Caribbean trees around the front of the Double Tree. It's a great view when you are driving up the driveway to the hotel. As you enter the hotel, You get a nice view of the lobby. It's so modern and very nice to see while coming to a hotel like the Double Tree. The lobby has a bar, restaurant and even a Starbucks. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to use the restaurant or bar during our stay. They do have a pool and fitness center. Unfortunately, we did not get to use them. If you don't want to use the gym at the hotel. There is a planet fitness and crunch fitness literally 10 minute walk from the Double Tree.We did heard that at night that walking outside the hotel isn't safe. We did went for a walk during the day and it felt safe to me but at night might be different. So be cautious going out the hotel at night for food or something but inside the hotel is safe. The rooms are amazing! They are so modern and so nice. I love that the tv is big and love that they have photos on the wall from airplanes. It's a great touch and so nice of photography. The Bathroom was nice and clean. They have a bath and shower so you can take either one you prefer. The beds was so comfortable and I really love that they had a blackout curtain that blocks the sun from shinning in the room. When I woke up the next morning, the place was blacked out and I didn't see any sign light coming from the window. It was so nice to see that. I could slept all day in that room. The pool area is nice. I did walk down there to see how the pool was but didn't get to use it. They have cabanas at the pool. This was one featured that wasn't expected. They was really nice cabanas with couches in them and to just relax at the pool. That was a plus to see. Next to the pool that have a huge fun area that had cornhole and other activities. There was a lot to do at the pool. Highly recommend going to the pool during your visit. The staff was amazing. The front desk staff took good care of us and felt like they are welcoming us home. The lady that was there had a smile the entire time. We didn't have any issue during our stay with the staff and we was happy with everything they provided us from check-in to checkout. The van driver said they will take you places around the hotel from 5 miles away from the Double Tree. Just a great staff overall. The hotel is clean and very modern. The hotel is definitely one of our favorites that we have visit. We didn't see any dirty stains or anything. Very clean facility. We did enjoy our stay and we highly recommend going to this amazing Double Tree. Definitely if you want a cookie at check-in. You get a free cookie. The cookie was so warm and not hard to eat. Really delicious!Overall 5/5

It's located inside of the Doubletree by Hilton. Drinks and food are always good. Bartender Renee always takes care of you. They open the kitchen at 5 pm and close before 10 pm. The bar closes at 11pm.It's perfect for us who do not like driving around to get quality food. Smash burgers, onion rings, and loaded fries are always on point for me!Overall, I recommend this place.

The Caesar salad is SO good! Got it one time as just a side salad and the next time as a side salad and added shrimp! Very pleased with the food. Really good for a hotel option!

The reason I stay at this hotel is solely based on the service Jahrel, the bartender provides. He remembers me every time and greats me by name and knows my drink of choice. I travel for my job every week, and this personal attention means so much. If you are in North Charleston, stay with Jahrel, and I am confident you will feel special, too.

Visited this restaurant in the Doubletree Hotel for dinner on a Friday night. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our server Renee was a gem. She was funny and warm and we really enjoyed our evening.

I have stayed here a few times, the food is okay. However, on this trip I learned that you don't walk up at 10 minutes before closing time. They wont service you. I arrived at 9:50 and asked the front desk where the bartender was and she said probably in the back. She said you can go look for him. I went find him in the kitchen and he said we're already closed. I replied it's not 10:00 yet and I've been waiting out front for 10 minutes. He said the cook doesn't want to can make anything else. If you close at 9:50, don't post your open until 10:00!

Did not expect food this good at a 3-star hotel. I got the Chicken Casadilla and it was fantastic... like, really fantastic. Quality food and quality service is what you can expect if you choose to stay/dine here.
