I cannot say enough great things about Vickie Horton and Florine Graham at the Waffle House located at 4755 Saul White Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29418. From the moment my peers and I walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, kindness, and true Southern charm.
We had been working since 6:00 AM and finally made it back to our hotel across the street around 9:00 PM. Exhausted and starving, we checked in and immediately came back out just hoping for a good, hot meal before heading to bed for another early morning. What we received was so much more than food — it was an experience.
Ms. Vickie truly made us feel like family. She even joked that if it were up to her, she would take us home and cook us a full home-cooked meal herself! She assured us that before we left, our stomachs would be full — and she absolutely delivered.
Both Vickie and Florine were multitasking like pros, taking care of us while also assisting other customers, all with smiles on their faces. They provided great menu recommendations, were patient, and made us feel completely valued. Our group ordered a wide variety of meals — hash brown bowls with chicken and melted cheese, waffles and eggs, steak and grits, Arnold Palmers, and one of my peers ordered a T-bone steak with four scrambled eggs and hash browns with cheese and onions. He said the steak was “cooked and seasoned to perfection.” Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed after such a long day.
One of my peers even commented on how clean and inviting this location is, noting that they’ve been to many Waffle House locations before and this one has truly raised the bar. The ladies received the compliment with such grace and appreciation, which only added to the experience.
Thank you for having Vickie Horton and Florine Graham at this location. Their hospitality, kindness, and dedication do not go unnoticed. I will absolutely be returning, and I hope they receive the recognition they deserve!

BEST WAFFLE HOUSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD, and I’ve been to so many across 5 states! Ishmael was an amazing server. Very fast, very attentive, and the food came out quick and HOT. Even when a topping was missing, without any hesitation it was fixed. Would come again, everyday of the week if it wouldn’t cause be to have a coronary.

From the time we walked in, there was no acknowledgment that we even entered the facility. Sat at the table, watched and waited for at least 10 minutes with nothing. No service, no hey, nothing.... worst Waffle House I've ever been too. Left and drove 3 miles down the road to the Waffle House near the air port, had wonderful service from the time we walked through the door.

Everything was awesome. The crew was amazing to watch In action, we sat down in Kianna's sectional she gave us over the top table service and never missed a beat with any customers. The customers just kept coming, but Aron and Jay held down the cook station like pros while Kianna, Kenzie, and Sara kept everything moving smoothly. Aron was very entertaining to watch and made us not want to leave. We really enjoyed our visit. Whatever chemistry this crew has needs to be duplicated in other WAFFLE Houses

Flow was the best! As a New Yorker Down south at her FIRST Waffle house EVER, it did not disappoint! From the juke box i got to play doo wop, to the waitress Flow’s exceptional service and ability to make me feel like home, everything especially the food was TOP notch!
